"The concept of the limited space is ok. It gives you the feel of an open floor plan apartment; however, you cannot see the television in the living area. There is only seating for about 4 people total in kitchen/living room space. I loved the fact that the love seat pulled out into a bed."
"Recently stayed with my daughter for 9 nights. Coming from Australia the exchange rate is terrible so we decided to stay somewhere more affordable. It was very well priced. We caught the bus to and from manhattan every day. The bus stop is conveniently located out front of the hotel and the bus comes around every 15 minutes directly into the PABT. The rooms linen and towels were not changed but I wasn’t bothered by that. You get what you pay for. We kept our room tidy and they also had a laundry room which was great. The room was warm and comfortable. My daughter slept on the sofa bed. It wasn’t so comfortable but it’s a sofa bed. What can you do, she still slept with no issues. Room was reasonable size. It was quiet and close to Starbucks and Walmart for coffee and necessities. There was also options to eat out only a few minutes walk away. The staff were very good and helpful whenever I needed anything. Breakfast was basic but ok. I wasn’t expecting a full buffet for what we paid. The fire alarm did go off a couple of Times. I would definitely stay again."
"WORST PLACE EVER!! Pool is not going to be open for long time! Staff are too rude when approaching to people! Rooms and corridors are dirty and disgusting! We paid a room for 3 people and they gave us a doble bed with an uncomfortable pull out couch you can feel the springs! No kitchen utensils ! No enough blankets! And the heater is so loud! They need to improve “breakfast” only coffee and a muffin! Never again!"
"I anticipated a decent hotel that would be convenient for us to travel into the city easily. The location was great. However, upon arrival of myself and 3 kids walking to our first room they assigned us we smelled various odors - marijuana, cigarettes etc. the first room 500something had bugs crawling everywhere - ants, roaches and more. Walls, door, floor. It was disgusting. We didn’t even step in more than to open the door. My kids and I trudged back down to the lobby. I told him about the bugs. He apologized and gave us a room on the other end and different floor - 403. Walking to that room we smelled the same things and witnessed some people who were participating. The room was not clean beyond a surface level cleaning. We only stayed as the beds didn’t have bugs and we didn’t see any bugs around. The pillow cases had stains and some hair on them. We didn’t use those. The floor was visibly dirty. The bathroom we did not shower because it was dirty. Most of the washcloths and hand towels had stains on them. The toilet and blankets looked clean. Only plus. The windows were disgusting. The blinds that came down had stains all over them. The closet door was broken and not on any track. The fridge made some weird repetitive noise. We never used it or opened it. The office chairs had stains on them. There were many holes in the walls. It was dusty - especially visible when turning on the lights and around them. If we were planning on staying more than one night we would have asked for a refund and I would’ve gone to a different hotel nearby. As it was we chose not to be in the room much. The noise from outside was incredibly loud with all windows closed and TV on. The fire alarm went off a few times. Not surprised. The elevators were jerky and dirty. We did not touch any public surfaces due to this. I have stayed at an extended stay before and liked it. I was incredibly disappointed and if more time was available I would’ve packed my kids and all our stuff back up and left."
"Hotel is good as per the price, breakfast means only coffee and muffins and that's it. Poor customer service, but rooms are very spacious and nice. Cleaning only happens once in 7 days, no room service, no hotel kitchen, no water, no Bell boy. But it's very good to stay here if you are coming for new york, as NYC is just 20 mins from here by bus and bus stand is just outside the hotel. Train/subway is far, but bus is the quickest way to reach NYC and cheap too. I highly recommend them for the stay experience"
