La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Secaucus Meadowlands

"Pro: the staff is exceptionally nice and accommodating. This makes all the difference The lobby is really pretty The breakfast is good Nice pool They let me check in at 5am no extra cost Con: Heating not working had to switch rooms Room itself is large but shabby The shower almost scalded me to death. Had to keel playing with it for 10 minutes to get cooler water. Happened in both rooms Overall worth the price and value is great. For location and things included I would definitely stay here again. Rooms could use a make over"

"Service was excellent. Room was outdated and could use a deeper clean with upgrades, but inexpensive hotel and can’t beat the price. Pool was large up to 5ft and open long hours and complimentary breakfast was mediocre. If you are looking for somewhere cheap this is your place but don’t expect a lot…. It’s a place to sleep."

"The location is very convenient, close to malls and restaurants, most importantly across the street from the bus that takes you straight to Manhattan. The breakfast buffet was substandard. The room needed in-depth cleaning. The bed, sink and toilet were clean, but the walls need a fresh coat of paint, the tub need fresh caulking, etc. The front desk attendant was friendly and helpful."

"The location is great for catching the bus in to NYC, and the employees are really nice. The beds are very comfy. The rates seemed reasonable. Sadly, the hotel, the lobby and furniture are grimey. The ice machines were not working so we had to go to the front desk to get it. The hotel is not half as nice as it was in 2016. We won't be back, but we had a great vacation anyway!"

"The front desk staff is amazing!!! Breakfast was great. The waffles were so yummy! The room was spacious and had a pull out couch plus 2 queen beds. The best part- they offer FREE parking if you’re taking a cruise, which saved us $800!!!!!! The hotel could use some TLC but the staff made up for it! Bus stop right outside the hotel was great too."
