Element Harrison - Newark 399 Somerset Street, Harrison, NJ 07029

"I rarely give all 5’s but this hotel was great. This is not a high end brand but the rooms were so functional and comfortable. The service was some of the best I have encountered at a hotel. Location is great as its close to the airport but not in the airport and a path ride away from NYC. Don’t stay often at hotels that include breakfast but compared to the ones I have seen this one was better than most. All the regular items that are not gourmet food, but also had a yogurt bar with fresh fruit and pancakes made to order, didn’t try them but they looked delicious . Our room had a bedroom and living area with tons of storage. If all Elements are the same this would be a very comfortable hotel for longer stays."

"what an amazing hotel! Clean, perfect location, great value! Super easy to get to and parking onsite - not an entirely separate lot - is a huge bonus! loved having a full kitchen but still the opportunity to get room service or eat in the restaurant downstairs too. we will be back for our next NYC trip for sure!"

"Wonderful stay! Front desk very inviting and knowledgeable about the surrounding restaurants. Thanks, Una! Room was in great condition with comfortable beds, filtered water, and decent sized kitchen. There is even a terrace when the weather is nice. Breakfast had many options including a Chobani yogurt bar - how unique is that!? Walkable to Path, great choice for close to Wall Street/world trade center but accessible from NJ roads."

"I’m from the South and I am extra friendly no matter where I am! I was pleasantly surprised when my Southern hospitality was welcomed and reciprocated when I checked in at the Element in Harrison. Carlos and Karla were extra warm and kind. They made wonderful recommendations and even helped me navigate an early check-in. My friends recommended this hotel because of its unique and modern design. The room was clean and spacious and Room 717 has a spectacular corner view. All around great stay!"

"Was visiting from out of town to attend a concert at Prudential. I want to start by saying this hotel was fantastic. The front desk attendants were so nice and upgraded my stay for free. They offered us a free shuttle to the Prudential Center and Penn Station! The location of this hotel is right across the PATH train station which I used a few times and it was super convenient. I also thought this area was pretty safe and clean compared to where I usually stay closer to Prudential. There's a few food places within walking distance. The room itself was really clean and if you don't mind the sound of the trains next door, this will be the perfect place for you. I'll stay again!"
