"I just came to this location today for my third lobe piercing and I am very disappointed about my experience. I was really looking forward to getting my ears pierced and Ava who assisted me was very rude and aggressive. When deciding the placement of my piercing she said “I have other customers waiting.” I trusted her and after she pierced my ears they were touching and uneven. She proceeded to tell me I can take them out if I didn’t like them and come back at another time. Something that was supposed to be a happy moment turned into one I wish I didn’t do. I wouldn’t recommend coming here to her especially if this is your first piercing and want a comfortable experience for you or your family. However, I do recommend making your way to the Claire’s a few stores down who’s employees provided amazing customer service and fixed my piercings."

"The guy with the tattoos on his arms rang up a warranty without my approval. Once I noticed and requested to have it removed he became snarky. Mind you I waited a very long time because the register was Not working."

"We had such a great experience today. I think it’s a great idea that either a birth certificate or passport must be presented for minors to get their ears pierced. Ava was so great, patient, personable and professional. Both my girls got a second hole for earrings! I highly recommend Banter at the Bergen Mall! Thanks Ava for taking such good care of us!!"

"Came by to buy some jewelry as a gift and found the kiosk closed with no employees. When I asked guest services at the mall if they were opened I was told they “should be”. I called the location at garden state and they also confirmed the Bergen town center should be opened. There was no sign left stating they were on lunch break. I waited for 20mins and no one arrived. This is very bad customer service. I ended up going to Kay jewelers and purchasing my gift there instead."
