"Had been coming here for 3 years but won’t be coming back. The quality has gone down significantly. Had multiple bad experiences. 1) in winter 2022, they cancelled my appointments twice the day before due to “scheduling issues”2) in fall 2023, the new hygienist did such a really sloppy job that the manager offered me a re-do for free 3) in spring 2023, the wait time was more than 35 mins. The dentist came in, said “I’m not sure if I’m your dentist but I will see you, and admitted that they were “all over the place”. Patients deserve more professional and organized services."
"My partner and I were visiting from out of state, and he experienced a lot of toothache that turned out to be an infected tooth that needed to be pulled out. Expert dental was able to fit us in the same day and the doctor, Pamela, was very gentle and he said it was his best experience at the dentist. The lady who helped us at the front desk was also very kind. Overall great experience!"
"I went for one visit last February. My experience with the dental hygienist and dentist was neutral to positive, no complaints. I was told I had 2 cavities and was brought to the billing room where the fillings were quoted for me. I got the feeling I was being ripped off when the itemized quote was shared with me (including conveniently, my insurance doesn't cover the type of filling they recommend so I'd have to pay for that). I decided not to go back because I didn't have a great feeling about it. Today (11 months later) I went to a new dentist, nervous to how my 2 untreated cavities had progressed. Imagine my surprise when the dentist told me my X-rays looked great, no cavities. I asked her to double check the two teeth that were pointed out to me in my appointment last year- nope, nothing there. I would recommend that others seek a second opinion if things seem off. The dentist who said I had 2 cavities that didn't exist was Dr. Charms."
"I strongly urge anyone checking reviews to hit “lowest” and read the negative reviews. This place is charging outrageous prices and recommending unnecessary procedures. I came in for a standard dental cleaning. I was told I had 2 cavities that needed inlays, one which the doctor said I definitely needed and one that was “highly encouraged.” The price quote was over $3,000. FOR TWO NORMAL CAVITIES. This is supposedly after insurance, people. I went to get a second opinion. I was told I just have small/medium cavities and can do basic fillings, no problem. But even the inlays at this second office were 1/8 the price charged here. This second dentist even found a third cavity that the Expert Dental dentist said didn’t break my enamel yet, but it did, shown to me on the X-Ray. The total after insurance for THREE composite white multi-surface fillings at this other dentist office was $337. Expert dental charges $348 for ONE composite filling with DMO insurance. Insane. I am truly shocked how this place can get away with overcharging and scamming people over dental work, a medical necessity. I also made an appointment with one dentist and was seen by someone else, they offered me loan options for dental work, and I got a promo code for fillings, a non cosmetic procedure, to my email. So sketchy. Finally, the dentist herself did not explain what was going on or what I needed, the front desk staff did when I was checking out and going over a treatment plan. Also weird because your dentist is supposed to do that. Avoid at all costs. At the very least get a second opinion. I guarantee you that they are recommending expensive work you don’t need and are overcharging. Do your research on all procedures suggested for you and whether they are necessary. And don’t sign anything without reading!"
"I recently had a tooth extraction at Expert Dental. The entire experience was very pleasant. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. With Laney's help I was able to get a prompt appointment scheduled. From the moment I walked in, their professionalism and warm demeanor put me at ease. The attending doctor, with her expertise and comforting approach, made the entire procedure remarkably smooth. The staff's friendliness combined with the doctor's professionalism created a positive atmosphere."
