"This place is near my job so it’s very convenient, but I’m also particular with my hair. I have a tight schedule so have had to book whoever is available when I have the time. So far I have had cuts from Yuri, Eddie, and Mark. Yuri and Eddie are obviously fantastic, as you can clearly see from all their reviews. BUT Mark is also wonderful so you should not hesitate to book with him! Great shop— old school vibes with a new school look. Comfortable chairs. Always in and out quickly without feeling rushed. Definitely my new spot. CASH ONLY (honestly not sure if there is an ATM in the shop but there are plenty nearby for before your appointment.)"

"The Kinsman is a true oasis in the beautiful West Village. The shop itself is classy and warm and the vibe is ultra cool. The staff are friendly and welcoming but most important, they are superb barbers. I am talking top-notch skilled and very client sensitive. My go-to man is Eddie. He is without a doubt the best barber I have ever had, and I have had many. Eddie is an expert with hair, beard, and any type of shave. He listens and also guides and has helped me refine a personal style with beard, fade, and a clean cut. Please treat yourself to their old school hot towel facial and shave - it is a game-changer. I seriously cannot recommend Kinsman enough."

"This place is excellent! Very respectful for customer time , don't need to repeat twice what I need and how I want my hair to be cut . NJ is the man ! Very clean and organized place! Towels smells on fresh laundry. I find out for this place though NY times ,when I saw pictures of cool retro style barbershop I decided to come and I never regret it! Worth every penny!
