"The worse service I have ever experienced. Not only was the cleaning inferior to Dr. did not look at the x-rays until I asked if I had any cavities and was told no. A couple of days later I requested x-rays be sent to me so that I may get a second opinion at which time the doctor informed me that I needed a root canal on tooth number 14. I was also prescribed medication that I do not need. Presently this doctor has not contacted me, I highly, highly suggest you avoid this place. Just another neighborhood rip off. This doctor is a jack of all trades and master of none."
"I had my annual teeth cleaning on 1/3/24. This was my worst teeth cleaning experience with this office. I have sensitive teeth and she still proceeded to use the instrument with the water. Water was running around my neck down my shirt. Before she was completed then she proceeded to use the cleaning instrument without the water. My teeth don't feel any cleaner then when I walked in these. Not sure if I will returning in the next 6 months for my next cleaning."
"Super friendly staff that goes above and beyond for you here at Uptown Dental . The staff always makes my husband and I feel welcomed. The front desk and treatment coordinator are super helpful and make scheduling appointments so easy and they send alot of reminders which is very helpful because it keeps you on track with your appointments throughout year. Let me tell you, the care is so comprehensive, and the doctor always goes the extra mile to help me feel comfortable. If you're looking for an amazing Dental office this is it, look no more!"
"Whatever you do, DO NOT GO HERE. My first visit I was brought into a room and waited 40 minutes for my cleaning. Dr. Lee came in and I was done within 5 minutes. The most rushed cleaning I have ever had. I let this go because I saw how busy it was. I had to schedule my next appointment but wanted to see a different doctor, and they kept saying they would call back. I called once a week for three weeks and never heard back if I can see a different doctor, so I ended up seeing Dr. Lee again. I returned for three fillings. When I got into the room, the receptionist came in and told me it would be $30 per tooth and I had to pay the same day. NEVER pay the same day for anything unless you have a copay. When I told her I wanted to check with my insurance, she said I should have told her sooner because then she would have called herself. If you didn’t check my insurance, how would you know it’s $30 a tooth. I saw a lot of reviews on here about them scamming people for money so I said I would pay when I got my EOB in the mail. Guess what. I got it today, and I only owe $36 dollars. Not the $90 they were trying to charge me. Receptionists are rude and dental care is sub par. Along with the financial issue, the dental care was an issue. My gums were cut up, way below where my teeth are, and it took over a week to heal. Not to mention that the teeth that were treated still hurt. DO NOT GO HERE. - response: I was not explained in detail about any fees. I was already in the chair when the receptionist rushed in and said “it will be $30 per tooth and you have three teeth that need to be worked on”. I did NOT agree to any UPGRADED work. I then took it upon myself to look at reviews and saw that there are SO MANY reviews about you guys scamming people out of money. Most importantly, I got the EOB in the mail from my insurance telling me how much I owe, and it was only $36, NOT $90. Which I called your office and paid over the phone - I can send the receipt if you’d like. Also I never said Dr. Lee was not nice. He was very kind. But his dental work sucked. 5 minute cleaning after waiting for 40 min the first visit. Then the second visit for my fillings, he cut my gums up badly and it took over a week to heal. And the teeth that were given fillings still hurt several weeks later. He can be a nice person, while simultaneously not give good care. I really advise everyone to look at the reviews before coming, especially on YELP. Lastly, the receptionists are rude as hell. As many of the other reviews say."
"Great experience!! I’ve always been scared of the dentist but after this dental visit my mind has been changed. The front desk ladies were very friendly, the hygienist, and doctor were very sweet and caring! I felt comfortable right away!! Will recommend this office to all my family and friends!"
