"This is the best haircut I’ve had in many, many years. Though I am tempted to keep Hair Greenpoint a secret because it is such a cool find, that wouldn’t be fair to Kim, so here it is: I have wavy, slightly curly fine hair that can look great with a good cut; proper layers, proportions, length, it can also look truly awful with a bad cut. When I contacted Kim, she asked several questions about my hair before scheduling an appointment. When I arrived she was ready for my appointment and spent some time analyzing my hair and talking to me about what I wanted before cutting - then she did exactly what I had pictured (I find this rare). In addition, the space is very unique and original, and I found Kim very pleasant and easy to talk to and also to not talk to - it was a relaxing experience.
