Edgewater Condominium

"We discovered the Edgewater Condominiums a few years ago and have returned several times. Its the best vacation value on Virginia Beach! Good service, great location, and the most amazing views of the ocean (we love to watch the dolphins) that we have ever seen. Edgewater has become our favorite GO-TO place for family vacations... !"

"Home away from home. I’ve stayed here numerous times with family and friends. My go to unit is on the second floor. The view is magnificent: you’re at eye level with the ocean! The kitchen has everything you need if you decide to cook while you’re there plus beach chairs and an umbrella are provided too. The place is spotless and oh so comfortable. Great restaurants close by including Dunkin’ Donuts, and Green Cat (organic foods & smoothies) just across the street plus North End Pizza a little farther down. Stay here. You’ll be glad you did!"

"We stayed in unit 202 which was very nasty and hasn’t been cleaned in A very long time. We didn’t stay the whole week like we had booked due to so much dust. I reached out to christy the lady that works in the office she never emailed me back. It took Joe 2 1/2 weeks to email back to say they would take care of it. I told him I wanted the owner of the condo to contact me which she did almost 2 weeks laster. She said she was sorry her and her husband could give us a week at no change and she promised it would be clean and we could come stay the week ofAugust 12th. I emailed her back telling her we don’t get another vacation until next year & my children would be in school. I emailed her asking for some of the money back because we paid $4000.00 for this nasty stay! She has yet to email me back!!!"

"We stayed in 204 which was very well decorated. The furniture was very nice and the kitchen was fully stock with everything needed to cook if you want to. We enjoyed the ocean front views and easy access to the beach, boardwalk and bike path."

"Decent place. Our actual unit was nice. It was decorated well, we enjoyed the beach theme. It was furnished with everything we needed including beach chairs and sand toys. The Bathtub/showers definitely need updating as they are very old, with knobs that fall off. The only lighting in the bedrooms were lamps which wasn’t great. The biggest issues were with the complex itself. 2 elevators but one was broken our entire stay and we ended up taking the stairs on multiple occasions to avoid long wait times. At one point both elevators were down. Only 1 parking spot per room so we had to park 1 vehicle several blocks down in a paid parking garage. The balconies are unbearably hot due to the AC unit being out there blowing hot air. No smoking on the balconies which I have never heard of. Laundry room is not free, and the one on our floor was broken so we had to go to another floor, after washing we realized the dryer on that floor did not work, and had to haul wet laundry around multiple floors until we finally found one that worked. It’s not horrible, but several small inconveniences."
