"This seems to be the same individual whom never physically saw my Daughter when she was in the care of the Psychiatric facility in VA Beach on First Colonial next to Sentara Hospital. The secretary or receptionist that answered the phone acted as though she were the boss and all private matters go through her. I mean she basically wanted to know my Daughter's business which technically is a violation of HIPPA since she's not my Daughter's Physician. She just needs a Discharge/Release Summary clearing her from the Doctor's care."

"Dr. Light has worked with our adult disabled son for many years. Our son also has CP. We believe that he is a great doctor and communicates with us, to meet our son's needs. We give him our input about medications and adjustments are made accordingly. If there was a scale that rated more stars, we would gladly give them."

"I would select negative stars if it were an option. My Mom was about to be discharged from Sentara Leigh on her 5th day but we mistakenly thought she needed a psychiatric consult before leaving because she was refusing cardiac rehab which she needed. We hoped she would be helped to choose that over going home so she could recover fully. Enter Dr. Light. Had we known what was about to happen, we would have taken her out of there ourselves and out of harm's way! The day after her 10-15 minute consult, she was incoherent, hallucinating, unable to go to the bathroom in a bed pan and was ultimately put in a diaper. Now she can't go to cardiac rehab, she can't even speak coherently. Before his "consult" she was about to be discharged; afterwards, we were told they wanted to transfer her to a psychiatric center as she was believed to have a psychological illness. I can guess the center they intended is one where Dr. Light resides. We found out he gave her a psychotropic drug that can cause exactly the type of behavior she was suddenly displaying. We had it stopped immediately and are still waiting to see if my Mom will come back to lucidity and be with us again. Dr. Light should be given the same "care" he provides his patients as a payment for his negligent practice and inhumane treatment of the patients he has been given even a single moment with. Maybe then he'd slow down and realize all the suffering and harm he's causing by rushing through consults and haphazardly prescribing harmful, damaging drugs."

"Wife had two negative experiences with him. Visited the hospital after baby 1 to evaluate her for PPD and stayed a total of 3 minutes. Wife checked herself in for extreme PPD after baby 2, and when she mentioned they'd met before, he said, "And you decided to have another child?" Saw him for a total of maybe 10 minutes in 6 days. Unhelpful."
