"There are two factors that contributed to a two star ranking - the nurses and the specialty doctors. They are the only people here that don't meet the pathetic standards and definition of American Healthcare. My daughter requires monthly infusions and we have to travel an hour one way to make it. It doesn't matter if we are an hour early or 20 mins late, either way you are guaranteed that the pharmacy will take its sweet time prepping medication. I shouldn't show up for a 2pm appointment and at 3pm the medication finally makes it way in. I hope the pharmacy gets this review so they can understand how incompetent they are."

"We were rushed to the ER by ambulance and were immediately given a room. My baby had pretty bad RSV and Ofcourse I was terrified for her wellbeing. The ER nurses and doctors were very supportive and really did as much as they could to help relieve some of severe symptoms she was having. Although ER staff was great, the absolute god sends are on 7C. I have never seen such dedicated, caring, and nurturing nurses like the ones I encountered here during our stay. Not only did they provide the best care you could imagine for my baby, they also took the time to talk to me, explain everything in terms that I could understand as someone inexperienced in the medical field, and really bring a sense of hope and positivity in such a scary time. The nurse that really touched my heart was Stephanie. The way she genuinely cares for each and every child, her welcoming attitude, attention to detail, and overall amazing presence as a nurse is something you don’t get the privilege to see very often. CHKD is lucky to have her on their team. She’s truly the best and brings light to what feels like some of the scarier moments a child and their parent may go through. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you Stephanie for becoming a nurse, my daughter was lucky to be cared for by you."
