"Cyndi Katz is one of the most helpful, compassionate and truly amazing people I've ever met. I was so hesitant to accept her help after 3 years of dealing with outreach in vb and their games and lies.. but within 2 weeks of meeting her I finally had an i.d. and started the process of getting ebt, getting evaluated for housing and someone to talk to ... she came by my camp every week and helped me so much. Eventually she took on my disability case as well. Its been 2 years and tho I'm not in housing yet, for the duration of time in which she worked with me to get the resources I needed to build myself a foundation so I could transition back into society.. I know cyndi did everything she possibly could for me and I am so grateful. I wish everyone in that line of work could be more like her. She doesn't just do this job for a check. Cyndi does this job bc she has a heart of pure 24k solid gold and the world would be a better place if only others could follow her lead."

"The funding for this place is a joke. I've lived in other locations in VA where getting approved for rental assistance even post-covid, was no hassle. But this place is pretty much no help every time. I've applied for rental assistance so many times here and always been pushed into circles. From applying, waiting a month to be selected, to being told theres no more funding. To applying, being told the programs have changed and I'll get approved, to being told I wasn't selected. To applying for say a month worth of rent, month goes by and then they said theres no funding and to re-apply with only 1 month past due, even though it takes them a month to tell you they can't help. Not to mention the "mental services" here are nonexistent. Theres a reason this place has 2.4 stars... don't even bother."

"I don't usually write reviews but please DONT GO HERE if you're looking for help mentally . You won't be heard or cared about I promise. They gave me the wrong appointment time which I was on time for for sure and the receptionist had an attitude with me about it since I was supposedly late. Just horrible customer service , no one ever answers the phones and whatever you do don't see the old white med management lady. She'll take your meds away that you've been prescribed your whole life cause SHE doesnt believe in them. I also was told as long as I got Medicaid within a month I wouldn't be billed but they sent me a bill anyway. I promise I'm never paying that. If you need any help mentally I highly suggest Family Insight. Very nice people there ."

"I haven’t a had a good experience an this facility. It’s really a shame. I’m trying to get help for my son and take off for work. To only have shante or chaunte ( don’t know how spell her name. ) to see us 2 hrs after scheduling us @1030 ( she even wrote it down & I kept it ) we get there at 1015 .. she was no answering her phone . We was referred or switch to someone else & get a time & date schedule & they are on vacation & we could not been .. this has happened to many times here. Other guest were also there complaining about the same issue. There zero communication,professionalism or management. Carolyn very unprofessional & disrespectful in how she talks to people when they are going through emotional issues ( my son ) . Something needs to be done / changes . It isn’t fair to the community and/or families.. very heartbreaking, distasteful. I can’t take my son here. I will find help else where. Going here you definitely need to make sure I have proof of appointments or whatever they say because they do not keep they’re word on anything."
