Dr. Theresa W. Whibley, MD 400 Gresham Drive, Norfolk, VA 23507

"If your considered "different" that is, in any way from the norm, this office is not the place for you. Dr. Whibley, and her office ruined my life a couple of years ago when I went to her practice on a referral. At the time, I was working for the City of Norfolk and Dr. Whibley was a councilwoman. I saw the connection and while realizing I was "different" I expected her to be a medical professional; I took that risk and lost. Dr. Whibley and her office spread vicious gossip about me in City Hall and while I fought back through the system as best as I could, it ultimately cost me my privacy, my dignity, my position at work, and finally my job. This gossip followed me back to my neighborhood where I live, and even to other jobs where I've worked in local cities. If you're considered "normal" then you may be treated with dignity and respect at her office, but otherwise I would definitely recommend another medical office , that is with the exception of Rachel, she is the best thing about this medical practice and they are lucky to have her."

"I went to the Group for Women for years. My first exam was with Dr. Mason Andrews. The next year, I saw Dr. William Andrews. Upon his retirement, I asked him whom I should see. He recommended Dr. James Via. He was nice for awhile, but I was then treated like a number. He was gruff. I then saw Dr. Carol Nottingham. When she retired, I began seeing Dr. Whibley. She and Dr. Nottingham are kind, patient, understanding, and take time for discussion with their patients. Sandra is a wonderful asset to the office."
