"UPDATED REVIEW POSTED SEPT 2022 Until recently I have been very happy living at the Fields of Falls Church. However, some time in the last year or so there was a change in management. Under previous management, community notices were cordial and informative. Under the current management, all communications from the leasing office include direct threats - the removal and destruction of unattended bicycles (prior to installation of bike racks), immediate towing of vehicles not displaying parking passes, and threats to terminate tenancy due to rent being increased and auto-pay not updating - over a $41 short payment, the rest of which was paid on-time. I asked about this new tone in the leasing office and was told "We're trying to do customer service, so..." *shrug* If I'm not mistaken, I, as a tenant, am the customer, and I do not appreciate this take on service. However, the maintenance staff that I see in the community nearly every day are still friendly and quick to deal with issues, so it gets 2 stars instead of 1. OLD REVIEW, POSTED FALL 2019 I've lived at The Fields of Falls Church for a little over a year, and I've been very happy with my experience so far. Some of the things they've done well: - The staff has always been very friendly. - They have regular pest exterminations scheduled which helps keep them to a minimum. - This is one of the only places I could find that allows both dogs and cats. - Maintenance requests have always been followed up on very quickly. - In the year I've been here, they had the roofs on all the buildings replaced and replaced several faulty washing machines in the complex."

"This is not a quiet place to live. Children screaming and riding bikes into parked cars. Also playing ball and hitting cars. They are rarely supervised by any parent. Neighbors stomp and slam doors all thru night keeping others awake. Advised management without any improvement. The maintence ladies are the only ones that are good here."

"Richard Oppong is the head maintenence worker and came and helped us get our old moldy fridge replaced. He is very kind and super helpful when fixing any issue that arose."
