"BEWARE. I have never lived in a place so unwilling to listen to the needs of their tenants. When you’re touring and or interested in the property it’s great customer service, don’t be fooled by it. Once you move in, it’s a completely different story. The elevators are dangerous. I have literally been trapped between two floors in one of their elevators and contacted their employees for help. Who got me out? Other tenants who had to literally pry the door open to get me and other tenants out. When I went to confront the staff, the ambulance hadn’t even been contacted to come assist us yet even though we used the elavator’s emergency button to call them for help. The children in the building run up and down the hallways all day and night unattended. I have had to complain about noise so loud in the hallway at 11:30 pm that I couldn’t even hear what I was watching on my TV and nothing was done about that either. It’s damn near impossible to have maintenance come out to fix any issues in your unit that they deem “unimportant” when in fact they are essential to your everyday routine. The water in the entire building is shut off with no notice almost each week. The list goes on, but this is all I have the energy to write now after just being hung up on by the front desk when reaching out for an update on a maintenance request I put in more than once that has yet to be attended to."
"Having resided in Skyline Towers for three years now, I've had an encompassing experience that reveals both the admirable and concerning aspects of this residence. The most commendable feature of these apartments is their generous space and stunning views. Living here has allowed ample room for comfortable living and the pleasure of scenic panoramas that truly enhance the living experience. However, despite these positive attributes, the building itself is displaying signs of aging, which is noticeable in various aspects of its infrastructure. The most troubling issue resides in the functionality of the elevators. They have become a constant source of inconvenience and frustration for many residents, including myself. On numerous occasions, I've encountered prolonged wait times, and regrettably, I witnessed an incident involving my elderly neighbor who spent an arduous 30 minutes attempting to catch an elevator down to the lobby. This distressing situation left her disheartened as she eventually had to abandon her plans and return home. She explained to me that she has lived here 30+ years, and this has been the worst year at the property. Residing on one of the higher floors (among the 26 floors in total) intensifies this problem. The inconsistency in elevator reliability has made the daily routine a challenge for many residents, especially those who may have mobility issues or require swift access to amenities. While the positives of spacious living and breathtaking views maintain their allure, the persistent elevator troubles significantly detract from the overall appeal of Skyline Towers. As a long-term resident, I genuinely hope that management takes proactive measures to address these concerns promptly, ensuring a better quality of life for all residents and maintaining the property's reputation. Skyline Towers offers an attractive living space with picturesque views, but the pressing issue with elevator functionality significantly impacts the overall living experience, demanding immediate attention and resolution from the management."
"One of the biggest mistakes of my life is moving to skyline towers, It doesn’t worth Pennie’s of the money we have been spending here. Out of 4 elevators 3 of them doesn’t work regularly. You will be late to work, class or any life activities. Poor management and so impolite resident service workers. You will regret every day of living of your lease. The only thing you will do is counting days to move out. Sincerely,"
"Half of the good reviews on here are about people touring this apartment. Not from people who actually have lived here and encountered the day to day struggles of being a resident at Skyline Towers. Now I will give credit where it is due. Jasmine and Carlos are some of the nicest and most helpful people I have encountered. Initially, I had to find an apartment quickly because I was moving across the country and the apartment I was initially going to move into had to delay the move in dates due to it not being ready. I found this one and they got me in within a week, so the process was seemingly easy. My move in day was smooth as well as I got the freight elevator reserved, however I noticed that in the basement levels (where you go to get your packages, use their little store, etc) there was a really really bad smell. I had read reviews about the elevator but I thought maybe that would be fixed. It wasn’t. Most days only 1-2 elevators would work out of the five that they have (at least in the south tower). I was on the 24th floor and one day the elevator was taking so long, we had to have been waiting for over 30 minutes. So we walked all the way up the stairs. Honestly, i could get over the elevator issue. My issue was that on top of the elevator issue, the noisy and dirty kids that constantly left trash in the common spaces, there were roaches. And I don’t mean 1 or 2 which is expected in an percent of that size. No I dealt with multiple roaches on a daily basis. Daily basis. (Please see attached pictures). In the first month I was there we had pest control in the apartment 3 times and it did not help. The management team kept saying “we can have them come spray your apartment weekly”. But who wants to live like that? Finally when the apartment manager was back from vacation, we had been living in the apartment for about two months and told her we wanted to move out, and not be forced to pay the early move out fee. She then told us that if we could move out by the weekend she would waive that feee. That only gave us a week to find somewhere else. So I asked if we could get till the end of the month and her response was “if you can deal with it for a month, you can deal with it for a year”. We moved out that weekend. Save yourself the trouble, apartment hunt elsewhere."
"FAKE REVIEWS!!! Also they are asking to leave good reviews. Please check the reviews in other websites you will see the real value of this place. People who live here don’t give them 5 stars for maintenance this is what you are paying for They have to maintenance whatever you need. I have never had bad experience like this. High rent pays and you get countless issues. They have 5 elevators most of the time 2 work some times only one. There are always noise you can even hear people who lives next to you. Very disrespectful people around kids are always making noise here and there.I kept complain to residents service and I finally end up there to talk to them. They basically told me to live with that. Very Rude Management and they don’t care what you are complaining about. This place doesn’t worth a penny. Don’t leave fake feedback to attract other people for come to live here. Look at this videos these are only couple that i recorded. I wish I had talked to some residents before i moved here. Definitely not recommended don’t get your life in annoying environment. There are much better places for cheapest price. They enter your apartment without your permission to maintain stuff without our request. They have the keys and you can see people inside your apartment while you are sleeping or whatever you’re doing. Stay away!!!!"
