"I'm being charged almost 1.5 years later for a visit that should have been taken care that year. Amy stated they basically ran it May this year! I work in the medical field I know the process. Just tell the patient the truth and say you caught it a year after. Spoke to my insurance and they didn't have anything on a claim or case or charge in this visit until this May! And apart from this they charged my tricare a new pt visit code for a 30 min appt when I was only there for 10 minutes that's what doctors do they charge your insurance when they do nothing for you. I don't stand for that. That's fraud on their end! Why not bill for a more accurate cut for a 15 minute visit not 30 minutes that weren't used. Just an FYI pay attention to your bill and time spent with fraudulent providers."

"Beware of this doctors office. I was seen by Dr.T for the removal of a tumor in my right hand and was forced to return to work just 2 wks after my surgery. Dr. T advised others have recovered and was able to return to work after 2 wks. I explained my pain tolerance was not like others but he did NOT care. He also refused to give a note explaining why he put me on restrictions explaining it was not my jobs concern."

"I first became a patient of Dr. Christopher Hersh, MD in February, 2020. I had almost a 3 month wait before I could be seen. The wait was well worth it. I had been to see several “ hand specialists” in Newport News and Suffolk who operated on hands; they were orthropedic surgeons but none truly specialized in hands ( and elbows). Previous providers stated there was nothing else they could do for me other than surgery. This was not the case with Dr. Hersh. He has a wealth of experience in using different injections which I was given. They gave me symptom relief. I had to delay surgery for medical reasons, then Covid 19 shut down outpatient surgeries and again there were delays. Dr Hersh gave me a durable cloth and velcro splint for one hand. He also referred me right next door to physical therapy where they custom made more stable and durable splints for my hands and a finger. I am recovering from my first surgery which went very well. I am pleased with the medical care and follow up I received during the office visits to prepare for surgery, during all my visits when I had injections and splints made and now post operative care. I drive to the Norfolk- VB line from Suffolk but the distance is minimal when one considers the quality of care they receive. I highly recommend Dr. Christopher Hersh, MD to patients of any age if they are having trouble with their hands, fingers, wrists, etc. Hands down he is a cut above the rest."
