"Last year there were definitely some staffing issues, to say the least. The front desk would never pick up the phones, and when I walked in to make an appointment, they were rude and unprofessional and were gossiping loudly while I waited. But over the last few months or so, they changed out the staff up front and the Northshore Pediatrics I’ve known for almost 10 years, came back. The staff is now professional and sincerely kind and helpful again. And of course, Oneica and Dr. Toland are excellent and careful providers. Dr. Toland is old-school and experienced but he still tries to keep up on the latest research. He’s always been right about any diagnosing of my two sons. I almost switched to a CHKD pediatrician earlier this year, but I’m glad I didn’t. Any time I’ve needed help with paperwork, school notes, and just needing to send a message to Dr. Toland to call me back, my needs have always been met within a day or two at the most. I highly recommend Northshore Pediatrics as they are like a small, family owned business. These are accountable and down to earth people that really seem to care and like their job."

"I don't see how people can give Dr.toland so much praise on being a excellent doctor. When he acussed my son of molesting his 8 year brother and accused his father as well. When my oldest son wasn't live in Virginia he didn't call social services. I just found out dr.toland had put this lie in my son's. Medical records."

"Schedule issues two times in a row now. As first time parents, Dr. Toland was great at the hospital explaining everything to us. We were told to schedule on Monday for Tuesday because they don’t schedule on Sunday. We called all day on Monday, unable to leave voicemails, no answer. Requested appointments online, no response all day. Called back Tuesday to schedule same day Appt, finally answers but earliest date was Wednesday. Get here 15 minutes early to our appointment and as we’re arriving, were told, “We need to reschedule.. He’s just not here.” We literally have a first time newborn that’s now 5 days old with no appointment. Dr. Toland was amazing but complete lack of scheduling/communication/organization with the office."

"I’ve been taking my children here for 11 years and the last year or two have been by far the worst! I absolutely love Dr.Toland but the staff is disgusting. Always gossiping about highly inappropriate stuff for a doctors office setting, trying to call for any matter is pointless because they NEVER answer the phones. When they do Answer the phones they’re not pleasant. I did not want to switch because we love Dr.Toland but I can’t ever get ahold of anyone to get my kids seen and scheduling a yearly checkup takes AT LEAST a month by the time you actually get ahold of someone. The staff has changed numerous times over the years and each time gets worse and worse. It’s being frustrating having to take my children to the urgent care for everything because we can’t even get ahold of them to make a sick visit appt. I’ve sat on hold for hours, so many times and got no where.."
