"Everyone was so polite and helpful, they recognized me and said hello as soon as I entered. The doctor is sharp and has a great memory about my past visits and conditions, wonderful, wonderful place. Thanks to everyone there."
"Sent me a bill for a day they rendered no services for $125 even though I ended up walking out and going to the emergency room. They never even took me in the back. They said it would be 150 up front so I left and went to the er. They then told me they would have to review the bill and see what could be done. Well they provided no service, no exam, no labs, and I never even went into the back. Still waiting to hear back from them"
"The lady at the front desk got me in so quick and unlike other receptionist at any other urgent care places she was patient and very informative. She need a raise. The other nurses in the back were sooooo sweet and they got me in sooooo quick and got me out super fast. Best urgent care ever."
"Set appointment, registered, uploaded DL & insurance cards online. Arrived at facility & tried talking to person at front desk who would only say, and I quote, “you have to check in at the kiosk.” After checking in via the kiosk, I tried speaking to her again to see if I had a balance due from a previous visit & was told, “I’ll be able to tell you when I check you in.” I was confused because she insisted I check in at the kiosk, but I went and sat down. I watched people come in after me, get seen before me, and still, I sat there. Then I heard the lady at the desk call people 2-3 times who obviously weren’t there .. whether they had been seen or just left, I’m not sure. I did see 2 people leave without being seen. Finally, an hour later, I went to the desk and asked about me. The gentleman saw my name at my appointment time, but it didn’t transfer into some other system that the lady was looking at. He assured me I would be next. The nurse came out and called 5 other people — none of whom were me. I stood up and the nurse asked, what’s your last name, and when I told her she said, “oh you’re the one who keeps getting skipped.” Apparently so! And then she said, you can come back now. And it was then that I lost all of my patience. I declined to be seen, told them I didn’t want to be seen by anyone there because obviously no one know what’s going on. Rude, yes. I left, but remembered I paid but didn’t get seen so I went back in for a refund and the woman at the desk said, “well she called you.” “No she didn’t.” “Yes she did.” Seriously, this transpired literally less than 5 minutes ago and you don’t know what happened? “She did not call my name. She asked me what my name was and I told her and she said you can come back now.” And the woman said, I kid you not, “whatever.” I will NEVER go back and will also pass this along to Tricare. This is my 2nd terrible experience with Velocity. There will not be a 3rd."
"This is now my *second* poor experience at this facility after giving it another chance. I should have went to my usual go-to treatment center. ARRIVAL: Walked into the clinic and approached the front desk around 5pm. Was informed that they were not accepting any walk ins and were appointment only. Made my appointment which was approximately 1hr and 50 minutes away. I returned to the facility about 30 minutes prior to my appointment time. WAITING: In total, it took an additional 20 minutes on top of my appointment time, only to be called back with five other patients. Of note, the facility is supposed to close within an hour at this point. NURSE: Arguably the best part of the entire experience! She was very personable, attentive to detail, and ensured she knew why I came in today. The only odd part was prior to our interaction, she stuck her head in and asked what kind of tests I wanted done. Truthfully, I didn’t know what should be done given my symptoms and we just agreed to go with a strep throat test. PROVIDER: Prior to being seen, any of the patients still present could most likely hear them remark about how excited they were that they almost made it to closing time. While I am all for finishing work for the day, this unfortunately foreshadowed a poor experience to follow. For the next portion, I am only going to focus on my interaction with the provider and not the diagnosis. While I have my own thoughts, I am by no means claiming I am a medical professional and have no formal medical training. Overall, my experience with the provider proved extremely poor. Any symptoms I would mention were met with dismissive or patronizing remarks. As the patient, it felt as if the provider prepared the discharge paperwork before entering the room for an evaluation. I have never left any medical facility so disappointed and feeling as If i just finished a 4th grade health class. SUMMARY: While the provider may have had external factors contributing to the poor level of service I experienced that day, this was now the second experience and cannot in good faith recommend this place to my peers. I feel my time would have been much better spent consulting my friends who are RN’s or in Med school, than returning to this facility. The Nurse who took my vitals was the best part of the whole experience and an absolute treasure!"
