"From square one this hotel was an absolute red flag. We entered into a dimly lit check-in room at around 9:30pm on a Friday (check-in ends at 11pm). The hole in the wall that leads to the office where they check you in at, had its wooden shade almost fully down (indicating they weren't there/closed). So, noting we were well before the final check-in time we decided to wait around for someone. During this waiting period we had a very disgruntled female guest (who was later told she's not allowed on premises by the man checking us in) going in and out of the building, yelling around, and getting access to the main part of the hotel by banging on the glass door for other residents to let her in (there's a key card lock to try and 'help' vet people coming In and out). After waiting for a while we decided to pull the shade up and ask loudly if anyone was there, with no response. Shortly after calling out and waiting some more, we proceeded to hear a lot of russling coming from the back room (attached to the check-in office) as if someone had just woken up. Finally after 30+ minutes the light came on in the back room and a tired man came out to greet us. He commented on how he was 'dealing' with an "undercover officer" revolving around a major distance on the second floor. Which was either a lie (we 100% heard someone in the back room before he came out) or there was just someone else hanging around in the back room. Nevertheless, we started to get checked in. Continuing the awful experience, multiple times while doing the paperwork he messed up the room number on the pieces of paper he had us sign which when we pointed it out, he'd just cross it out and rewrite the "correct" room number on it with sharpie. During this gruling process he also proceeded to almost boast to us about how it's very common for there to be alot of commotion and police activity on the premises, especially during the weekend. Finally after barely managing to get a key card to a room, we started our march to our room. During our walk we we noticed and we're watched by a surprising amount of people (presumably residents) who were hanging out in the hallways. Just to finally get to "our" room, only to find out our room was already occupied. This ended up being our final straw. So we went back down to the front office, calmly mentioned our problem, and asked for a refund. The best/worst part of this whole experience is the Expedia agent we called to help obtain our refund, was the nicest and happiest employee we met on our entire trip. Overall, I would stay far far away from this hotel. I absolutely understand that things happen, especially in a hotel setting, but there's only so much anyone should have to put up with when spending $100 on a hotel room for one night. In the end we spent $30 extra in total for a different hotel and we were met with the exact opposite experience than we received here."
"I was due to check in here for 7 days. When I arrived, Kia took my ID and told me to go see the room before she charged me. I walked in the room and was in complete shock. The room was not cleaned. Carpet was not vacuumed, dead roaches on carpet. Trash left from last guest. Mattress had rat poop & stains. The plastic cups they give you for ice looked molded. The room was truly disgusting. $600, and I am shook! So glad I was able to leave with no issues!!!"
"This place was absolutely awful. We walked in and the room was filthy. It looked like no one had vacuumed and there were burn marks all over the place for it to be a non-smoking room, as well as stains on the countertops and sinks. There was a stinkbug sitting on the air unit and the absolute worst part was when a cockroach crawled across the wall. Needless to say, we didn't stay. This place is not worth the money AT ALL."
"I am staying here between the end of one lease and before another starts. Of the 11 nights I have stayed, the fire alarm has gone off 7 of those days, 3 of those occurrences being between the hours of 2am-4am. I have PTSD and work full-time, but I have not been able to sleep here, let alone get restful sleep. The smoking rooms (chosen dur to availability, I dont smoke) are disgusting where I didn't feel comfortable walking on the carpet. After moving to a non-smoking room, there was a smear of poop on the outside of the toilet."
"The GM Devonia Smith took excellent care of us and made sure are stay was as comfortable as possible. Would definitely recommend this extended stay to friends and family. P.S. all staff were friendly and helpful."
