"The absolute worst hotel I've ever been to. Me and my kids didn't even stay. I've never left a hotel so fast in my life. Thin walls so u could hear ppl talking in the next room. I didn't feel safe and it was dirty. Any review above a 1 is a lie and they were probably paid to give that review"
"This place was at the top of the list of worst hotels I have ever seen!! The first thing that struck us, going in, was the smell. The whole place smelled like fish, but each room has a kitchenette, so that could have been someone's supper. The rest of the entry way was deceptively decent. Micah, the guy behind the check-in counter, was easily the best part of our short visit. He was kind, accommodating and understanding. When our first room was not acceptable, he gave us keys to two others to check out, to see which was the "lesser of two evils." He also completely understood when we decided to go with NONE of them! Now, the rooms...and I will include some pictures...Every room we checked was filthy. They were also outdated, but we could handle that, if they were clean. The floor was greasy, so your feet slid around on it, in one room, and it was sticky, in another. The microwaves, cupboards, drawers and fridges all had crumbs, and/or spills (one fridge looked like it had meat blood all over in it). Things were in disrepair, with peeling paint, torn carpet and bed skirting. There was a roach on the wall, and there were cup rings and sticky stuff all over just about every surface. In one room, there was an old, disposable razor hanging from the mirror, and there were pieces of toilet paper and strange colorful stains on the bathroom floor. By the bed, there were pistachio shells and other suspicious-looking garbage, on the floor. Microwaves had greasy fingerprints, where the last person had pushed the buttons, and the chairs didn't look like you should dare sit in them, with dark, greasy stains, topped with lighter crusty ones! There wasn't a redeeming thing about the place! We didn't even bother tearing the beds apart. What was the point, when we knew were never going to stay there. We didn't really even want to touch anything! One or two of those things could happen anywhere, and you could overlook a coffee ring here, or a few missed crumbs, the corner, but almost all of the problems, mentioned above, were present in every room. We couldn't even choose which one was better. They were all equally horrible. They clearly need new management who can inspire their workers to care about and take pride in their jobs, and to eliminate those that don't. This place was just absolutely unacceptable, in the hospitality industry!! We ended up staying at the Comfort in a couple miles down the road, and it was the exact opposite, absolutely beautiful!! Do yourself a favor, and go literally ANYWHERE else!"
"This was the absolute worst place I've ever stayed! The room we stayed in had broken and dangerous equipment and there were many MANY roaches! We went down to let the front desk know we were not happy and before we could say anything, the lady at the desk asked if we wanted to change rooms or just get a refund. We advised we just wanted the refund and we found another hotel to stay at that night! There was also another person staying there that let her 1 year old child run up and down the halls alone! Then when we tried to get the child back to her 2 pit bulls came out of the room and she grabbed the child and the dogs and shut the door. We could immediately hear her continuously beat her child. We went to the front desk and reported this and let her know we were calling the police and the lady at the desk covered her ears and said I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that and you can do what you need to do! I was disgusted! I will never in my life stay at this or any other location they may have again! Please be warned this is an awful place!!!"
"Horrible. Two military members who have slept in questionable places could not sleep here. We refused to use the bathroom, water, bedding and kitchen area. The room was very dirty, bugs everywhere, the smell was so awful I needed to buy room spray for it to be tolerable. We remained dressed head to toe in layers, even sleeping. Mold in the shower, hair in the towels, and food on the kitchen counters. We have never been so grossed out. We avoided being in the room as much as possible. Please don’t stay here, I beg you. I understand you get what you pay for, but no person with a conscience would take someone’s money and have them stay here."
"Stayed there a year ago it was standard lower quality hotel room not great, but an okay place to spend the night. A couple of things have changed. (Memorial day weekend 2023) They have bed bugs, the hotel stinks, and it's dirty. Keep in mind this is a hotel for mostly extended stay and blue collar workers they leave early in the morning, and come in late. The hotel staff is nice, and they did refund our money when they were presented evidence of bugs. Not gonna give it another shot."
