Comfort Inn South 4624 Fairlane Drive, Kingsport, TN 37663

"To start had to get new sheets for one of the beds because it smelled like perfume and had little brown things on it. The comforter had stains on it. The bathroom had hair paled up behind the door. Very little water pressure so made it hard to wash my hair. The beds sit on metal boxes and they made noise every time someone turned over or got in and out of the bed. The WiFi had no security to it. There is no counter space in the bathroom, it is small. The morning breakfast was very good. All the employees were very pleasant and helpful."

"We chose the hotel strictly on location. When we arrived the front desk was empty. We waited 10 minutes until a frequent guest came in and was able to track down the attendant. The room had the odor that someone had smoked, which the front desk took care of while we were out. The bathroom could benefit from water saving shower head. The lobby appearance is very worn and needs an upgrade. Water in the steam table was moldy. The facility needs some TLC."

"This is a wonderful place to stay for night. Now if you don't like train noise I suggest not staying or loud house keeping. She woke us up she was talking to someone on phone guess she didn't realize how loud the was."

"We had a lot of issues in our last stay here. I had 5 rooms for myself and several students. Check in was difficult, the gentleman at the counter insisted that our rooms had been booked through a third party, even when I showed him the confirmation from the Comfort Inn website. So once we get the keys we head upstairs...and there's very definitely someone staying in my room. back downstairs, he read the wrong line. I get the right room this time, and it stinks (pizza maybe?) and I find a tied off grocery bag in the corner of room that I just threw away because I didn't want to deal with it. Then students come to me, there's bugs and hair in their beds. back downstairs, we need a new room, they only have kings left. Swap the kids into my room (pizza smell), and we find that one of the beds has something in it (pepperoni bits?). Back down stairs for sheets, which he grumbles about but eventually gives us, then another trip back and forth for clean pillow cases. My new room was great, my other students didn't have complaints. When we checked out, they couldn't get the printer working to print receipts. Just kind of a mess overall, I would not stay here again."

"I would say this place was alittle scary when you drive up in the dark . There are plenty of people hanging out smoking cigarettes and drinking beer in front at night . We had no other options so we went in. It was not as bad inside as the outside appeared . Our room was actually nice. The people at the desk were pleasant . Other then looking like a homeless shelter at night it wasnt bad !"
