"It’s nothing Great about Great Things. The owners Mr. and Mrs. Myrick do not care about anybody but themselves. They have currently lost two employees because of the owners lack of respect and lack of communication, and accountability. parents tell the staff how much they appreciate the staff and how they feel sorry for the staff because of the owners. The parents are well aware about the Myricks and have their own opinions about them (none are good). They all sound the same “don’t care about the staff” “only care about the money” “don’t care about the kids.” Complaints about getting paid on time and staff getting their proper wages. Employees have left Great Things because of money problems (not getting paid on time, questionable looking checks, and him making threats about taking money out of the staffs check). The staff get paid on the 10th and 25th of every month via check. So if you get paid on a weekend you won’t receive the check until that Monday. They have roaches! You must bring your child lunch and snacks the daycare doesn’t provide it! They do not go on field trips or any type of outing. The teachers don’t know how to teach or what to teach because they weren’t even taught by the Myricks to do so. DO NOT bring your child here! The staff get blamed by the owners about what’s going on and what’s wrong but nobody was taught/ shown how to do things right. They expect you to sit at a computer screen for your “training” and then throw you in a classroom with no instruction and expect you to do well and excel…. it’s not possible. So this message is for people who are looking for employment and people who are looking for a location for their child… THIS IS NOT THE LOCATION YOU WANT! it’s so many better options where your child is truly in good care. and this message is not to discredit the staff because they really do their best and it is greatly appreciated. To the MYRICKS, do better before it’s too late!"

"Honestly this place is horrible… 1 star is really pushing it. I am very upset that my family had to go through and experience all of these terrible things. You are responsible for people’s CHILDREN, the way you treat parents AND the children is very unacceptable and NASTY! please do better."

"I was hesitant to write this review but this should be addressed immediately. Instead of "Great things" the company should be named "Sketchy, unprofessional, rude things Learning Center" It pains me to know that I had a family member treated so poorly from the owners here. I pray that you guys take the constructive criticism and learn from it going forward. Hire individuals who actually love to do their job instead of hiring unreliable and unprofessional people who do not care about the well being of our children, our community, and our peace of mind as parents in need of childcare. Do better, please... for the community's sake."

"DON’T BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE !! Please believe all the bad reviews! I truly regret bringing my daughter here. For this to be a Christian school. THE OWNER MYRICK NEEDS TO GO straight to hell ! He doesn’t care about those precious kids. He’s only in it for the money! You can see on the children face how scared they are of him. He treats his staff and customers poorly. They don’t potty-train , the kids don’t learn anything from educated professionals. If you just need a babysitter someone to just sit and watch your child then here’s the place. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL , no learning being provided. If you truly care about your children please keep them far away from this school. I’m praying on the day they shut down. YOUR KIDS are not safe !!! And I don’t even write reviews but I just wanna save another parent from the stress this school will bring into your life. Save your babies and take them somewhere else please !"
