"We spent Christmas and our anniversary at Keswick Hall. Our experience with our room overlooking the golf course, dinner on Christmas to finishing our stay was spectacular. What stood out was the cleanliness of our room, the sparkle of the grounds and the attentiveness of the staff. The front desk staff instantly made you feel welcomed, responsive to any questions. The highlight was my 90 minute facial with Alexis. She paid attention to what I was looking for before the process and she did not disappoint. I highly recommend her facials. I left the facility feeling glorious and fresh. If your intent is to relax and do nothing but acceptance of being pampered, plan to stay at least an overnight. Go ahead, you deserve it!"
"Even though Full Cry Golf Club is in winter season, it is still in immaculate condition. You will have to search far and for awhile to find a more beautiful course. The resort is and will always be Gold Star Standard. You won't find a better combo Golf / relax / bizmix."
"This one was a bummer. I went to the spa today and there were things I enjoyed and things I did not. The facility is amazing. The common area and locker room were beautiful. I loved the steam room. The sauna was warm at best, I wish it were truly hot. The robes were comfortable and staff was attentive. I think it’s ridiculous that you can’t use the pool when you pay a small fortune for the spa. I also had a very unpleasant massage. Shannon was my massage therapist and I’ve had a lot of massages in my life but I really kind of suffered through this one. The room was freezing (67 degrees to be exact) which would be fine if the heating pad in the massage table worked. It did not. I was freezing for the majority of the massage. I think she knew because she kept wrapping my chest and extremities in warm towels but they’d quickly just be very cold and very wet. The massage had virtually zero pressure. I felt like I was just being rubbed with oil for an hour. I don’t feel any sort of relief after having a $200 massage plus the addition of hot stones and that, to me, isn’t acceptable. I went through the trouble of notating my sore areas and they were not tended to. I’m not sure how often she gives massages because she also happened to do my friends facial. I wish Keswick would pair you with seasoned massage therapists because it truly ruined my experience."
"We had a wonderful stay at Keswick Hall! The rooms were very spacious, the staff were all so friendly and the meals were delicious! We also really enjoyed the spa. We never had an issue finding open chairs at the pool and appreciated that it was adults only. Our only suggestions would be to extend the morning coffee past 7 am and to refresh the water and snacks in the room on a daily basis. Otherwise, it was a 5 star stay and we will definitely be returning!"
"Bottom line... Spend your money elsewhere! My husband and I were excited to spend our anniversary weekend here, but after just a few hours on property decided we were better off heading back home. The grounds and building are beautiful, but that's it.... That's all it has to offer! The high level of service and special touches you expect from a luxury resort are non existent! We booked an upgraded balcony/terrace room for the view, but our view was a sidewalk and giant tent... Nothing like having to keep the curtains shut when you paid for an upgraded room with a view. The website room descriptions need to be more accurate! And of course they couldn't move us since they were booked solid due to a wedding. It's a beautiful venue for a wedding, but non wedding guests should NEVER be left to feel secondary! We tried to find a place to enjoy a drink and the view (since that wasn't happening from our room) but areas were being closed off for a private event, and our only option was to be served beverages in plastic cups from the pool bar. Not my idea of luxury or a warm welcome! Bugs in the shower, red wine served in white wine glasses, STAFF who ENTER your room WITHOUT KNOCKING!!!! Read that one again! And the final reason we packed it up to go home after only a few hours was a copperhead snake waiting for us in our room after dinner! The manager on duty, Casey, tried to smooth out our stay but nothing was worth this level of miserable! Save yourself from major regret and stay someplace else!"
