"This is a lovely B&B. Absolutely deserving of all the five-star reviews. Gorgeous location, very quiet private property. The grounds are beautiful, and the Swallow’s Nest room was a romantic hideaway for my husband and I. Will definitely be back!"

"We had a lovely time at the inn! Rooms were comfy and clean, breakfast was delicious and the owners are kind and accommodating. The design and layout of the inn is extremely unique, for example, each door has a different carving and style. My husband and I would highly recommend a stay here!"

"Simply lovely. Owners are extremely nice and accommodating. The property is very unique and whimsical, like a forgotten fairytale. The rooms are comfy and airy, very clean, and full of custom wood carvings and touches you would not find anywhere else. Breakfast in the "bakery" was delightful with a fantastic view over the mountainside. And the location is terrific: just a short distance from both the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Appalachian Trail, basically down the road from Wintergreen and the local police station. There are wineries, breweries, and hiking trails all around the area. Fabulous choice if you want to explore nature or just wine and dine, you can do both! I would say the Fenton Inn serves couples best, but all would enjoy. (Much better than a hotel or someone's condo rental.) We will definitely return! Give it a try! 5 Stars all the way!"

"Wonderful experience! The couple's (owners) friendliness and hospitality solidified the 5-star rating. The room we were in is a decent size with updated features. The place is clean with unique style like the doors that were personally crafted by the owner. Woods used to build this place were from the trees that were cut down clearing the site. I like the Bavarian design of the exterior right in the middle of the mountain. The only thing negative i can say is i missed it twice and had to make a u-turn. Need better highway sign if county permits. Had GPS but due to poor signal, there was a delay in receiving update. This place is highly recommended."

"We loved our stay at this Inn. It is tucked away in a beautiful mountain forest setting and designed like a Bavarian lodge. The owners have the check in/out process down to a simple science & the property is well maintained & quaint with lots of flower gardens, wood detail decor & interesting furniture designs. There is an outdoor hot tub & oversized checker game in the yard for guests to enjoy. The room was gorgeous, spacious, comfortable & had everything we needed: mini fridge, a/c & heat control, hair dryer, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, & even make up wipe, cotton balls & q-tips. Wine glasses were provided to enjoy a bottle of whatever you find at the areas many wineries & distilleries. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast of eggs, bacon, French toast sticks & granola with coffee & juice. We chose outdoor seating overlooking a breathtaking mountain view. Would stay here again & highly recommend for a couple or group of adults. Not really geared toward families with children."
