"I can highly recommend this heavenly place for a peaceful and beautiful retreat. The property is located in the most Serene and lovely location in Madison county VA. My favorite place is the back porch that overlooks the lavender farm and the gorgeous pond. The house is beautiful inside and out. The bedrooms are so comfortable with so much attention to detail. So charming! Every window you pass has a spectacular view. Thank you to Anita, David and Nell for such a wonderful time!! I will be going back at my next opportunity! Highly recommend!!"

"Anita, David, Tom, and Nel are the perfect hosts. The set up of the guest rooms offers you plenty of privacy if you prefer it, but they are a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area, and always seem happy to answer questions about the lavender. The location is in excellent proximity to explore the local area: right at the doorstep of Shenandoah National Park (the perfect launching point for an Appalachian Trail section hike adventure), right in the heart of Virginia’s wine country (and breweries!), but you might not even feel it necessary to leave the farm with the beautiful views of the Appalachians available right from the property! Be sure to catch a sunset there, and appreciate the especially starry sky at night."

"Had a fantastic stay while in the area for a section hike of the Appalachian Trail. The property is beautiful and huge with a ton of things to do. A boat is available for the lake, there are some trails on the property, and plenty of wineries a short drive away."
