Town And Country Cotillion
About the Business
Town and Country Cotillion, located at 191-199 Avon Road in Richmond, Virginia, is a prestigious school that has been a tradition in the community for over 60 years. Our program focuses on teaching middle school children the art of ballroom dancing and social etiquette. We believe in instilling the values of common courtesy and good manners in our young ladies and gentlemen, all while providing a structured, age-appropriate, and enjoyable activity.
Boys are dressed in coat and tie, while girls wear white gloves with their dresses for our formal dances. These events emphasize social etiquette and ballroom dance steps, all set to current music to keep things exciting. Our informal evenings offer the chance for the children to showcase their developing skills through themed events like Halloween and western nights.
Town and Country Cotillion takes place at The Tuckahoe Woman's Club, located at 4215 Dover Road in Richmond, Virginia. Join us for a memorable experience that will help your child develop important social skills and have a great time in the process.

Reviews
"Great experience for kids. Many people don’t have the opportunity to have something like this. For me and every one of my friends who went through this program, we have nothing but fond memories of dancing, getting dressed up, the Holly Ball, and learning how to be gentlemen."
"This has been an incredible cotillion experience for my daughter. Highly recommend! Professional, organized and elegant."
"I went here about twenty years ago as most Collegiate 6th graders did. It was kind of disorganized and they didn't do a great job of actually teaching the students how to dance. Most of the time was spent waiting in line, too. I am a little biased because I was taking real dance classes too at the time, so this was more of a "put on a dress and stand around while lame music plays" type of deal. This is mostly a formality for stuck up private school people. Your kid won't really learn anything. Get them real dance classes if you want them to learn something."
