"Had my cat Tater's teeth cleaned and she needed two extractions, one a minor front tooth and one molar that was decaying. Dr. Turner kept me in the loop by phone during the procedure. I received before and after photos of the work, as well as thorough instructions on how to help Tater recover at home and a list of approved products and foods for dental health, which was very helpful. I couldn't have asked for more comprehensive care and Tater was calm, despite her stressful day, so I know she was well looked after. And the billing was reasonable."

"Excellent veterinary center with excellent service and staff all around. The online appointment system works very well and both reception and the veterinarians themselves are very attentive and helpful over the phone. There is a wait for appointments sometimes but staff will work with you on getting a sooner appointment if you really need it. Stratford Hills is very communicative and helpful in all situations. The only reason this is not a five star review is because of the pricing. While the staff don’t have a problem discussing finances (which is great!) you do need to make sure that you as the customer ask, especially because the pricing here is the most outrageous pricing of any vet I’ve been to or heard of in the Richmond area. Stratford Hills is absolutely fantastic but the pricing genuinely does need to be lowered on a lot of their services."

"We’ve been going here for about 8-9 years. We’ve seen a transformation over the past few that we are impressed with. They understand sense of urgency when you call and have treated our dogs and pups with a great deal of compassion. It is a bit of a drive for us but we are happy here. I wish they had 24-hour emergency services for current clients. There’s a bit lack of options here in Richmond. Overall, we recommend SHVC."

"Wonderful people who really care about your pets (and you). Highly recommend. Prices are more or less the going rate, or, if anything, a little less than many other vets. They will always offer you options/advice, but also understand if you decide not to get the service for your pet. They are also very good about letting know about approximate costs in advance."
