Greenbrier Family Skating Center Roller Skating

"1-24 update. It's been close to a year since my last post. Just popped on to say that I so feel the same way! Had a super fun time and again was thinking, "I need to come more often?!" Staff was great. Even directed our group to a great spot for a photo and took it for us! Red my review below: My first time here. It was a nice big rink. Felt safe and clean. Lots of tables for everyone to sit and eat and visit, which was really nice. They had the helper things for new skaters to use in the middle (think walker) which was nice. Good snack bar and shop area with socks, skates, glowing novelty items for the kids... We went on Thursday's unlimited Pizza Christian Skate Night. As a mom, that was great... dinner and fun exercise for the kids. The kids didn't love the pizza... I thought it was good. I liked the music they played... good music to skate to and lyrics I knew were good for the kids.... nothing boring! :) Lots of skating with lights on, plus some times wroth lights out and fun colored flashing lights etc. Overall, a great variety with time for beginners, speed skaters, under 12 and even adults to take to the rink at differnt times. I love that they offer all different kinds of skate times and music on different days. We all had a great night and I would go back for sure!"

"This a great family skating rink. I would like to mention Skip, the skate expert technician. He tended to our skates like we were his best friends. He is super AWESOME in his knowledge of skates and how to repair, tweak and make adjustments that optimize your skates' performance and therefore your overall skate experience. He even checked in with us during the session to make sure everything was going good. I would like to THANK him SO MUCH for the fantastic job he did with our skates and for the SUPER FRIENDLY customer service!!!!"

"Absolutely the worst! Bunch of Money hungry Scum that run this place! I first watch staff at concession stand try and turn a kid down for a slice of pizza because he was .04 short. I made sure and covered it for little man,but to turn a paying customer away for a couple of Pennies,after already paying for admission is PATHETIC!!! SECOND, One of the little girls at my daughter's party couldn't skate very well so we attempted to get the walker to help her along,and 1st was turned away because to many were already on floor, so after 30 minutes wait,was called up Only To be Told it Would be A $5.00 fee for a hour. Crazy! Promise they can't get another Dime of my business!"

"There was much more bad than there was good about this place. First thing walking through the door, staff is rude and doesn't even read their own policy. I have no problem showing my id as I know I look younger than I am but if 18 and under need a chaperone and we're all older than 18 why argue that we need a chaperone. Also don't demand and point telling someone to spit out their gum, you can ask and state that gum is not allowed. For the problems that aren't as much of a problem and more of a personal issue, music is so incredibly loud to the point that it feels like you have to yell to have a conversation. I'd say the really only good thing was the price, especially if you bring your own skates. Overall will definitely go to a different rink over this one."

"Great place for wholesome fun. The staff was very kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for my granddaughter's birthday party. I would give it 10 stars if I could!"
