"My family has been with Apple Tree for nearly 10 years, with both my son and daughter having been students since they were each about 2 years old, and I strongly disagree with the negative reviews I've seen here. The directors, teachers, and assistants are hard working and truly care about all of the children. Both of my children have loved going there over the years and have always been excited to attend. Many of the people who work there have been there for 5+ years which is saying a lot for a daycare which can tend to have high turnover rates. They have a great teaching curriculum, and the school is always clean and tidy. The Directors, Miss Jessica and Miss Barbara, are doing a great job and always have a smile on their face, even after working very long days in some instances. They are organized and attentive to both the needs of the children and the parents. I really appreciate all that they do for our families. I would recommend this school and specific location to anyone that is thinking about enrolling their children for childcare."

"I have worked with Apple Tree for over 3 years now. My son has attended during those years. I think the program is great and many of the teachers I've met over the years have been wonderful. He is currently in kindergarten and going to public school, but he definitely looks forward to spending time at Apple Tree when he gets out of school!"

"We have had our daughter in this daycare since she was 5 months old, and she’s been there for almost 2 years now. The staff has always been very kind and take great care of her. We also have 2 older boys that were at another daycare center that was closer to their school and offered transportation from the school. The boys hated that daycare center and would ask to come home on the bus instead of going to that daycare. This summer since school wasn’t a factor we decided to move them to this Apple Tree Learning Center and they absolutely love it! Everyday that we pick them up they are always excited to tell us about all the fun activities that they did, like when the Gamer Bus comes, or when the reptile man comes and brings the animals for them to see and they absolutely love the Water Play days! As soon as they started, they came and said “Dad, we get to do bible study in school!” There is a newsletter that we receive via email that tells about upcoming activities and events and what the learning topic will be for the week. So even though I pass no less than 7 other daycare centers to take my kids here, I do it everyday because of the level or service that this Center Provides. We love Apple Tree and I’m sure that you will as well."

"Parents, please do your research before sending your child to Apple Tree on Mt.Pleasant. It breaks my heart to write this review on a daycare, a place where a child should feel loved and safe. I cannot attest to the other apple tree locations, but I do know that this particular facility needs to either be 1) shut down 2) hire completely new staff To be a faith base daycare, I am appalled by the actions of the staff and their management team. They will write your child up every single day, there is no learning structure, they won't help your children with potty training (unless you strongly advocate), and they do not keep the parents updated on important information. I could go on and on, but I refuse to give this business any more of my time. Parents, please BEWARE, there are plenty of other daycares that will show compassion and grace to your child/children."

"Our son started at Appletree, Mount Pleasant location in 2018. The Director and Assistant Director were absolutely amazing at that time. Unfortunately one left within 6 months and the other left about 6 months later. That speaks volumes. The new Director and Assistant Director that were hired in 2019 were not the same caliber, at all. I could write a novel with the negative interactions we had, especially with the new Director, who was unprofessional, not trustworthy, clearly not capable of handling a director level position, or trained properly. I started to see changes in my son after the new staff took over in 2019. This school claims to be a nonprofit and Christian based. That is an absolute joke! I spoke to the Executive Director at their so called corporate office, who by the way told my son at one point his ears looked like a gremlin. Yes, an adult - the Executive Director - in the corporate office verbally bullied my child to his face. We brought our son to this daycare because he was physically and emotionally/verbally bullied at a previous daycare, and the staff at Appletree clearly knew that! I asked to speak to his supervisor and the Executive Director informed me that he WAS corporate. He would not put me in contact with the CEO. Perhaps she will read this and care enough about her facilities and the children to learn what is really going on in them. I am not surprised that the staff do not stay and are not properly trained with leadership like that. I recommend AVOIDING this so called "learning center" at all costs, and all Appletree Learning Centers in this area. They are all under the same incompetent leadership. They do not care about the children - only money, despite their claims of a being a loving, caring Christian environment. What an absolute disgrace."
