Applebee's Grill + Bar 1520 Sams Circle, Chesapeake, VA 23320

"I received the birthday dessert this time. But when being told you were going to take care of us I guess I expected more then 81.72 bill. I'm sorry I expected more after your waitress ruined my birthday. The steaks again were good (again not sizzling). We come there for the food and atmosphere. I feel like you mislead me on the phone. David did know the girl who waited on us. Thank you for the dessert anyway. Why tell me to ask for the manager and he'd take care of us? I'm sorry I misunderstood what we'll take care of you meant. We come to this Applebee's sometimes twice a week spending between 65 -90 dollars each time. I guess it's time for a change. The steaks are awesome when they come out on time. They sure turn heads when they're sizzling I guess. They turned our heads as we watched them pass by. Connor was awesome and deserved the 20 dollar bill. He's the best. I'm sure they won't miss my 60-90 dollars twice a week. But that's how I'm taking care of you."

"We were seated immediately but were not greeted by our server until 10 minutes later. We were excited for the 14.99 all you can eat and our first plates were the fried shrimp and riblets. We waited for more than 30 minutes before we decided to just get up and leave. Mind you the restaurant was not full nor busy but there were plenty of staff members working. There were patrons seated after us that were served before we were. Our server was not friendly and not attentive. Seemed as if she did not want to be there. We may try at a later date but I am not sure I would visit this location again."

"There's not a lot of late night options for food in Chesapeake, but we stopped by this Applebee's on a whim. All the staff was friendly and welcoming. The food is average, fresh, and served in a timely manner. I was not impressed with the specialty cocktail I ordered. But this location is over due for a refresh. It feels worn and out dated. I was distracted by an ant crawling on our table. There's also a plumbing issue that needs attention in the men's restroom."
