"I recently visited Dr. Jill Bussey for a cleaning, filling, and a crown from a recent root canal done by different dentist and I am extremely impressed with the quality of work she provided. From the moment I walked into her office, I was greeted by friendly and professional staff who made me feel comfortable and at ease. During my cleaning, Dr. Bussey was thorough and meticulous, paying close attention to every detail and ensuring that my teeth were as clean as possible. She explained everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. When it came time for my filling and crown, I was understandably nervous, but Dr. Bussey expertise and gentle touch quickly put me at ease. She explained each step of the procedure and made sure I was comfortable throughout. To add on two weeks after, I took my 2yr old in for a cleaning and she handled him so well, I couldn’t believe he actually allowed her to service him without a cry or fight. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience at Dr. Bussey’s office. "I have been coming to Beautiful Smiles for quite a few years and since the pandemic I can see a decline in the care and treatment provided. I had a filling and when I explained to the dentist that now my tooth is rough ( which wasn’t rough prior and not where the cavity was) she really got defensive and short with me. So now I have a rough tooth that wasn’t rough before. My daughter had a filling as well separate from my visit and the first time she numbed her and waited a while then injected the needle which caused no discomfort. This time she placed the numbing cream and immediately injected the needle into her gum which cause my daughter to cry. I feel like this was done on purpose and rushed all after I stated my daughter didn’t need nitrous oxide ( which I said she didn’t need when scheduling the appointment). I stated last time you waited before injecting the needle while holding my daughters hand as she cried. Once she finished she said the topical doesn’t take long, but from out last experience she waited. She also said “ you failed to realize” I’m explaining that it doesn’t take long” then says well I see you’re hostile and don’t want to have it done” which I stated none of that. I told her she was creating something that’s didn’t happen” I simply was advocating for my daughter who is now sitting in your chair crying when she didn’t before. So then she left and sent someone else in to give me information to go somewhere else to have the cavity filled because we talked about it ( she not we) and because we had a confrontation ( which also didn’t happen) and because “I was telling her how to do her job”. She did not address me and never said she was not going to finish. She went in the back and took a break. This experience was not what I’m use to and sad that this took place. So now my daughter is numb and no service rendered."

"I have been a patient of Dr. Bussey’s for 7 years and unfortunately the last three years (starting before the pandemic) the quality of care has dramatically dropped. They seem to be having trouble retaining a hygienist, to the point where at my last visit I waited 45 minutes without being seen at all before I had to leave to pick up my children, and when trying to reschedule I was told there wasn’t a hygienist even scheduled for that day. I had called the day before to verify appointment time, and let the receptionist know that I would have only an hour for my appointment. Dr. Jill walked in while I was having this conversation, and instead of apologizing, shrugged and walked by. Sad. If they can right the ship, this is a calm, clean, beautiful dentist office and Dr. Jill is pleasant and professional. Unfortunately, I will be changing dentists."
