"This was my first visit to RVA Dental Care. Ashamedly I have not been to a dentist in way too many years. I have a terrible phobia of dentists. Have had one since childhood and require serious medication just to get my teeth cleaned. Long story short, I had a dental emergency this past weekend and my wife called RVA Dental Care on Sunday, New Years Eve and left a message. Dr. Lawrence returned her call in a short time. This alone impressed me. Tuesday morning I went in for my infected tooth. Dr Lawrence saw me. The entire staff, especially his assistant, made me feel comfortable and explained what needed to be done. I will be going back next Tuesday for more work. This is all out of pocket. Yes, I have dental insurance, but they do not take my insurance. I felt so comfortable that I'm willing to pay out of pocket, a lot, for the friendly service and ease that I felt in the office. I highly recommend them to anyone who has a terrible fear of dentists. Or those who don't but are looking for a new dentist."
