"Wish I could leave 10 starts for this establishment is outstanding I had to leave a review, good vibes, wonderful service, chef’s definitely win a full standing ovation anytime I can cut a steak with a plastic knife, season and cooked to perfection, & the shrimp their is no words that I can find to describe the taste with every bite. This was my 2nd visit here. I will be returning. Love the music selection!"

"Party of 5 went in for brunch, the place was packed, so we were told it'd be an hour and a half wait. 2 of us sat at the bar to have a drink. The bartender wasn't friendly AT ALL. We were seated about 30 minutes later. The atmosphere is very chill with really good music! Definitely for a younger crowd, but my daughter picked it, so i just rolled with it. I ordered steak and eggs and asked for my steak to be cooked medium rare.....it was well done. Too bad because it was seasoned so well. They also forgot my potatoes that came with the dish. I personally wouldn't go back, but I am outside of the target audience."

"We recently went during the week for brunch while in Norfolk. Our first time there, and they did not disappoint. We were seated immediately, and our order was taken. Drinks were really good, and we loved the 90s throwback music (the best music, in my opinion). The food came out in good time, and everything was delicious. We even got some to go. We enjoyed it so much we decided to go back the next day for a to-go meal on our way out of town. Will definitely visit again later in the day to see what the evening/late night atmosphere is all about."

"If you want a nice brunch, come here. When they opened at 10:30 a.m., we arrived and was seated immediately with our menus! As soon as we walked in, we could scent freshness in the air, and the staff was cheery and upbeat. We had a guy server that had beautiful big hair and excellent customer service the whole day! We stayed from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. just to dine, drink, and listen to music. We ended up ordering so much food while the time was passing. They played 90s and 2000s R&B at an appropriate volume throughout the entire visit. Not too noisy and not too quiet! It is not too light inside, allowing you to relax while listening to music and sitting. Our server continued to check on us and refill our beverages without ever rushing us. They also served hookah, which I'm not a fan of, but someone else in my party appreciated both the price and flavor. Now the entrees were the main attraction! The red velvet waffles must be ordered on the first visit because they are that good!! The catfish was perfectly fried, and the shrimp in the grits were perfectly seasoned alongside the grits. Two areas of opportunity for the restaurant is the grits was too watery but they were well-seasoned and also the price for the bacon was highway robbery! I paid five dollars for two shriveled up pieces of bacon. Seems a little excessive. The drinks did not disappoint, we order shots, cocktails and we also ordered a patron flight, which reminded me not to consume it too quickly because it left me feeling extremely good. The flight's flavors made you forget it contained alcohol. I would return to this restaurant! The price was reasonable for the quantity of food I ordered. Maintain the excellent service and good food!"
