"Chips taste stale and the tamales are overly sweet! The bartender was very sweet and offered something else off the menu. I want to love this place but the food is never worth it. Try Perro Blanco if you are craving tacos and margs."

"Luna Maya is my favorite restaurant in Norfolk! Always my first recommendation to people visiting. It has a great ambiance, perfect for a date night. Everything we have had on the menu has been delicious & the spicy guac is what dreams are made of!"

"I have been maybe 4 or 5 times and the food was great all those times I even recommended the place. Last night we got take out from there and the food was completely underwhelming. No flavor, less protein than usual and just overall disappointing. I won't be returning."

"Food was decent, for Mexican food tho I wasn't impressed. For myself when I walk into a Mexican restaurant if I can't smell the spices ita a bust. This place had some Mexican spice kind of smell so I knew for walking in the door it would be mediocre. Honestly the prices were a bit higher than I'd expected for Mexican and the food for sure didn't reflect that level of quality. The service was good overall we actually ended up with two servers as it was shift change but both of them were lovely people. The atmosphere for me wasn't it, it felt more like a nightclub to me. It was very noisy and so dark you could hardly read the menus you literally had to use the fake candle light they had to do so. Overall I would say the price to quality and experience is just not worth it."

"Went here on a family recommendation. We grabbed and early dinner and some drinks. If your coming here I'd have to recommend the Tamales. I got the Tamale Luna Maya and it was really tasty! It came served with rice and was plenty for one person. Atmosphere and décor are nice but the floor plan is a bit open so it can get a little loud."
