Bar Louie - Hampton 3530 Von Schilling Drive, Hampton, VA 23666

"Bar Louie was my favorite bar/ restaurant for many years. However the reviews are very truthful in how the place is severely declining and you should go to one of their competitors. Let’s start with the service. At the beginning, the waitress was very nice and welcoming. Just like another review mentioned not long ago, we had to ask the SAME waitress repeatedly for our drinks, in which would sit at the bar, while she ignored us and were met with an attitude when she finally brought them over. Not to mention, I was charged for a drink for which I, nor anyone in my party did not purchase!!! I even asked to confirm before paying and she lied. Please double check your receipts because this is becoming a common practice for this place!!! The drinks were good and the food is okay but the service will continue to keep folks away. Look elsewhere!"

"Would give it a zero but I had to leave a star. I've been here several times before today and never have I gotten such terrible service here. Was not greeted at the door properly. We waited for a bit was patient then a woman African American hairstyles braids with glasses approached us asked if we wanted a table or bar. We told her table. She guided us to a table then we sat for about 15 minutes until a waitress finally dropped our Silverware but failed to take our drink order then so when she finally came back after about 10 more minutes(we even asked another waitress if she could help us but she said she was getting ready to leave) our waitress returned took our order after she figured it out as she said she was still new. We gave her grace for that. We sat and talked and waited and waited and waited and mind you the same lady that led us to our table turned out to be the manager was sitting near us on her laptop watching us. Not once did she stop to take notice even after cleaning her glasses with a napkin that our food had not arrived and that we were not being serviced timely. Nobody checked in on us and this "manager" on duty tonight walked past us several times. My husband then at this point asked her if she was the manager. Alcohol was on her breath and she had a attitude as if my husband did not have the right to stop her when she again had walked past us several times. She tried to overtalk my husband then when my husband explained it to her she says she didn't think a order even pushed through for us so this whole time we sitting patiently with nothing but 2 waters on our table. Absolutely insane if I wanted to sit and drink Water with my husband I could have did that at home. Needless to say I'm very upset. I would highly recommend a review of "management". My issue is not with the waitress as she expressed she was new and with a "manager" like that how can she possibly learn? A waitress can be coached but if the "manager" not interested in managing it'll be a sinking ship. Corporate will be getting a call as well cause that was so unacceptable."

"Just ordered a hamburger with all the fixings with added mayo and they deadass sent me a burger with nothing on it and mayo in a cup on the side, honestly just heartbroken I just wanted a good burger and after paying almost 30 dollars for the entire order I hoped for better"
