"Great food but a little pricey for oxtails. Very busy and long wait during lunch time, but my oxtails & cabbage made it worth the wait."
"Hadn't been here in years but was craving stew chicken so I stopped in. The line wasn't long but as we stood waiting, it got longer and still took forever. We ordered a large stew chicken w/yellow rice and cabbage, 1 chicken patty, 3 fried wings, cabbage and cornbread. We asked for plantain twice and didn't get it. Our total was approx $32 The wings, cabbage and cornbread were soooo good. I'd definitely get that next time. The chicken patty didn't taste like much but potatoes and dough and unfortunately, the stew chicken was overcooked, dry and a little spicy so I was disappointed."
"I have been going to mp for years. First spot had the restaurant, grocery store and dance club in the same location. Food has always been good. I have their oxtails, stew and chicken, plantains. Cabbage, Mac and cheese and rice. Food has always been good. When in Norfolk, VA stop by. They also have other locations."
"This was more like the neighborhood store atmosphere. I bought fresh Ox Tail, goat, beans and rice. All raw and fresh and a few spices, but there was a section to buy cooked food. There were plenty of people in line waiting to purchase food so I'm sure that there cooked food is delicious."
