"After moving back to the Richmond area more than a year ago I've been trying to come up with my new "best of" list. In my opinion, Tavern 19 has one of the best pizzas in the Richmond area. It is more of a neopolitan type pizza, so very doey. They have a great selection of beer and, when weather is right, nice scenic outdoor seating overlooking the picturesque golf course. Plus, reasonably priced."
"We came there because my sister and her friends had had lunch there and thought it was good. We almost didn't come in because there was only one couple there, and they were at the bar. An employee saw us hesitate and invited us in. It was a slow night despite it being a big football night. Anyway, we sat where we wanted and had the place to ourselves. The nice couple at the bar made conversation,but soon left. We had the shrimp Bahnmi and a salad and the cheesecake and fres. Food was hot and good. About 3 people came in for pick up orders while we were there. I would love to try their pizza and barbecue, so I believe I will be back."
"Meeting downstairs, but the staff provided was attentive and helpful. Rueben sandwich with tator tots was great. Our regular meetings are lifted by the promise of good food/drinks and helpful staff!"
