"Light House is always the place to go for good prices and great, friendly service. Shop local, support local! I'll be back next time I have a need, thanks."
"Overpriced, got wrong living room sofa set twice and when i finally got the correct one they torn it bringing it inside my house.Unbelievable"
"Prices are not the greatest, but are still better than a lot of other places. Owner and staff are very nice and approachable. Great place to get just about anything you need for your house. From bed frames to love seats to washers and dryers. Update: 2 weeks after buying a dryer, it stopped working. When I called, they said they'd come pick it up and repair or replace it. They never showed, or even called back to say they were coming, and I had to take it back up there myself..."
"My mom has been getting all of her furniture from there for years. Now I just furnished my home with them. Their payment plans are reasonable and affordable. They work with you, and they're really nice people."
"I just moved here and want/needed an old school washer really bad. I had a new high-tech Samsung washer and it performed horribly. I didn't shop around, my fault, and I've never personally brought used appliances. I purchased a washer for $350. At purchase, I asked the owner about a warranty and he stated to me "Just bring it back if anything happens to it and I'll replace it." No mention of a time frame and my fault for not getting clarity, thought he was a decent person. The washer smelled really awful, I ran 2 hot water, bleach and detergent cycles and used the cleaning tablets from Wal-Mart and the smell still lingered. I dealt with the smell, knowing that it would eventually go away and our clothes didn't smell. In a few weeks the smell was gone. None of the cycles worked except for the Regular, then a few weeks later it broke. At this time it had been over 30 days. I went to the store, the owner wasn't there so I spoke with one of his family members and he acted as if I was wasting his time and bothering him. He told me that I could pay for pick-up and for them to fix it. I told him that the owner didn't specify a date, and the family member stated that warranties are only for 30 day. On the way out one, the kid behind the counter was snotty with me. Typical spoiled behavior. If you want quality appliances at a reasonable price look to Tri-City Appliances. Don't make the same mistake I did in haste, shop around and check all settings on your purchases the same day. If dealing with this owner, make sure you get all statements/promises about your purchase in writing."
