"I hadn't been there in a bit. I was Happy to actually look at the book before I bought it. Had a Starbucks to peruse the choices I made in the cafe. It was very nice to be able to do that. Good selection, games, gifts, calnedsars, and cards. I'll try to go there more often. (I remember going there on dates... I'm a low maintenance date) It was also that rare 75-degree day in January w a beautiful sunset to boot."

"Clean store, lots of cool books! Purchased a book today and was really excited for it; the lady who helped me pick one out and purchase it was super sweet; she had reddish hair and was super helpful! Had issues with it and was ultimately unable to use it so I brought it back the same day to return. The guy who processed the return seemed really annoyed with me; I was thankful for his help returning it and was kinda put off by how annoyed he was getting with me. I get it that nobody likes doing returns, I have had to do them before. The device wasn't working and I don't want to have to wait a day to see if it works since returns work on a timed basis. I don't always have time to come back the next day. Ultimately it won't stop me from coming back, but it has made me feel like I want to avoid dealing with the staff if not everyone is as kind as the first lady who helped me."

"Tried to ask the woman at customer service where the restroom was on 12/28/23 at 3pm. She ignored my question but was delighted to help the older white woman who was behind me in line. Unfortunate that they don’t train their employees on discrimination policies because I love Barnes and Noble. I hope that management will take the steps necessary to ensure this doesn’t happen to other customers."

"I enjoy shopping here. The staff is helpful and nice. The Criterion Blu-rays can often be out of sorts but at least they still have them! I will mention that at this particular location there are some people who hang around the business / self-help section and try to rope in suckers for their pyramid schemes. This has happened to me TWO separate times and now I stay away from that section. Not the staff's fault, but buyer beware."

"I love it! Although the Short Pump location is closer I strongly prefer this one. Infodump time! At Libbie Place Barnes and Noble everything is all on one floor, and when I finish shopping and go to wait for the spec-tran van to pick me up, I have a roof over my head. Which is great because I am scared of standing out in the open (vast visual fields give me vertigo); I love to stand under trees, canopies, and overhangs so the sky is not so intimidating."
