About the Business
Mantle House Mission is a non-profit organization located at 132 South Water Street in West Newton, Pennsylvania. We provide a transitional place for homeless young men and women aged 18-24, offering them living accommodations, life skills, and guidance to help them return to the community and lead productive lives. Our organization is Christian-based and aims to support young adults who may lack direction or mentorship in their lives.
Our mission is funded through the resale of household items, antiques, and art at our Mantle House Mission Resale Store. The store, located in a beautiful Victorian home, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. By shopping with us, you not only find unique items to enhance your home but also support our efforts to help homeless young adults during a critical period in their lives.
In addition to resale, Mantle House Mission actively seeks grants and holds fundraisers throughout the year to support our programs. We also welcome direct donations from individuals who wish to support our cause and make a difference in the lives of the young men and women we serve. Your donations help us provide food, supplies, and services to those in need, benefiting both our residents and the local community.

"A wonderful place with collectibles. Everyone can find something of interest and provides seasonal options....but that's not the best part. Sales from this location and the one in Victory, a few short miles away that sells donayed clothing and furniture, benefit the non-profit Mantle House Mission. A home setting provided for homeless females that not only provides a roof over their heads and meals, but assists them in preparing for living on their own. Budgeting, meal planning, laundry, housekeeping, social service appointments and assistance with GED and obtaining a driver's license. They assist them in getting a job and save for their next step, independent living. Those finishing the program are assisted with finding an apartment, help getting utilities and deposits. It is a wonderful program."
"Love the items (when able to buy). Service could use some help. Every time I find a big ticket item (more than $5) it's a hassle. U wanted a lamp I had seen for months with $20 tag. On a 50% day, was told the price was incorrect. Same with a blanket, when interest is shown, prices are raised. Started as a nice place. Sad"
