"Montauk IGA is an afterthought in the Adams market. It doesn't have the same goods and services as the Amagansett and East Hampton stores. Some products are more expensive in Montauk than they are in the other two stores. The parking lot is a disaster there's no outside lighting and the asphalt at the entranceway and in the parking lot is a personal injury lawsuit waiting. Renovate or rebuild a new store for the Montauk customers"

"Good to have a grocery store in town in case you miss something on your trip or want to fill up your provisions. Some items are outside cash register counter, so I have to put my basket and walk out to grab what I want then to walk back. Staff aren't helpful at all and only chit chat to each other. I just happy that at least they have grocery stuff I want."

"Fair selection of products for a smaller grocery store - pricing is a lot higher which was expected for the area. Two stars because the entire staff was extremely unpleasant and will keep us from being returning patrons. Most employees were standing around and clearly avoiding doing anything to help customers and maintain the store."

"Been here a few times on our short trip to Montauk. They might not have everything I am used to at the big stores, but they know what they are doing. Prices are much high then in my area, but we are on vacation. We get in, the check out line can be long, but they move everyone along quickly. Each cashier and employee I have encountered has been friendly and helpful. Appreciate everything they are doing."
