"I typically avoid complaints, especially given my retail background and understanding of its challenges. However, this recent interaction during our shopping visit last Thursday left both me and my partner with a less-than-positive experience. We were exploring outfits for Black Friday, intending to make online purchases. Being in-store was to gather opinions and assess the fit first hand, but the encounter fell short of our expectations. As we gathered what items we liked, we noticed an outfit on a mannequin that caught our interest. Unfortunately, his size wasn't available on the racks. I observed that the mannequin was wearing his size and asked the associate if we could try it on. Initially, she checked the backroom for additional sizes, then returned, inquiring if we were committed to purchasing the item. We both nodded and expressed our intent was to purchase if the fit was satisfactory. The associate (claiming this was protocal) advised us to either try a different size or order online if immediate availability wasn't essential. We clarified that our goal was to assess the fit before deciding. However, she hesitated to remove the outfit saying she wasn't keen on taking it off unless we were 100% buying it, claiming it'd be a hassle. My boyfriend then mentioned he only tries mediums because that is his size and she then laughed, but didn't budge. I reiterated that the main reason we wanted to try it was to check the fit and comfort pf the outfit in that size. Finally, she agreed and took the shirt off. She looked very annoyed and being in retail, i understand its not always easy, so I offered to help her put the mannequin back together. She told me she was good and had it all taken care of. We ended up buying the shirt in the end, but decided against asking for any further assistance. We even spotted another shirt we liked before checking out, but the last of his size was again attached to a mannequin, and we opted to leave without it to avoid a repeat of the situation. It was just very dissapointing to recieve such service. People shouldnt be left feeling like a "bother" to the people who work there. All we wanted to do was try the shirt on and see how it fit. And if we hadn't had such an uncomfortable interaction, we probabaly wouldve taken the other shirt we saw home with us. Very dissapointed :/"
"I love Express! Marissa, the store Manager, is incredibly kind and sweet. Her exceptional expertise in Marketing and communication truly motivates me. I find her patience, confidence, and sales techniques truly admirable. As for Greg and Sarah, they are both incredibly kind individuals. Sarah's kindness is unparalleled, and she exudes understanding and confidence. Greg, on the other hand, possesses remarkable efficiency in accomplishing tasks. However, I did have multiple bad experiences with Wendy. It seemed like she expected me to acquire a substantial amount of information within a short period, and she even threatened to reduce my hours if I didn't greet people. However, this was puzzling as I had just started working there and had already been proactive in getting insiders and greeting people. Moreover, her tone of voice was completely unacceptable. Her rude attitude is something she should address for the future, and it's essential for her not to project her emotions onto others."
"Bridgewater Commons! Express- Not happy with the service , I have go to store twice, waste of my time. They do not even know how to search for a pant. I wanted a particular color and the billing lady said it is not there online but I could search now and was able to find this morning . I have to go to store to return my pant and exchange it , it so much waste of my time. The 2 ladies at billing kept saying it is not there without properly searching . Worse service!"
"Have not been to Express in a while and I really liked this store. It is well organized and has some discounted items that are surprisingly still in season items. Loved some of the unique colorful but subtle spring styles."
