"As a plus sized person shopping is often a difficult experience. Stores that carry a plus line carry it online only or the ones that do have an extremely limited selection and employees that treat you as if you shouldn’t be there. Showing either passive or direct hostility towards you. I was expecting all of this when I walked into Athleta a few weeks back. Not only do they have an extensive selection of plus sizes. Every single employee treated me like I was welcome and valued. I’ve been back three times and the ladies remember me each time. It’s a rare experience for me and even though I could get athletic wear cheaper elsewhere they have my loyalty and I’ll pay the premium to be treated like a human being."
