"I don't usually go out of my way to do reviews but I think it's important to share. I visited to have a navel piercing done. The piercer did not inspect the bars she was going to use before doing the piercing. This lead to the lower ball of the bar I chose being seized with the clamp stuck on my stomach as we were doing the piercing. It was already pretty painful so I wanted her to see if she could remove it without putting a whole new bar in. The process was agonizing as she fought the seized ball, but I chose that route so, that part was not entirely her fault. Eventually we just put a new bar in. When we were done she gave me a bottle of Bactin for aftercare. The lable on Bactin says you should consult a doctor before using it on open/puncture wounds, should not be used on raw surfaces, and is marked for external use only. Saline is the correct aftercare solution. Bactin is a lot harsher and while it keeps your wound clean, also delays the healing process. Not a good thing to have the person putting holes in my body giving me the wrong treatment products and telling me to use them. Several weeks after my piercing, as instructed I texted my piercer to ask about getting the bar switched for a shorter one since the swelling had gone down. I never recieved a response. I texted again a week later, and again never got a response. I ended up having to change the bar out myself because the length was causing the piercing to move excessively, and the dried discharge on the bar would tear up the walls of the piercing causing pain, irritation and occasionally bleeding. Now that I've changed it myself for a smaller bar, it's more comfortable and healing faster. They had also neglected to mention their business had recently changed addresses. After calling to confirm my appointment time i was lead via gps to an address across town, before calling again to confirm the correct address. This was not an expensive procedure to have done, but I did not have a good experience getting my piercing done here."

We called first to make sure they took walk ins and the owner, Jay not only said yes but that we could come right then. Her shop is not only beautiful and clean but everyone was super friendly and it’s a very relaxed environment. Jay never rushed us and made sure we would get exactly what we wanted before she tattooed us. She is an extremely talented artist and so down to earth. The prices were more than reasonable and we left thrilled with her work. I’m planning on coming back for a bigger piece I want her to do for me in a month or two.
