"I'd been a regular customer for several years. I enjoyed being able to see the various selections they had to offer, and the prices were clearly marked. I was always treated well, and we got to know each other some. A year ago, I was diagnosed with a rare none marrow cancer and spent considerable time in a Pittsburgh hospital. Unfortunately, the massive amounts of drugs and treatments I've been receiving didn't allow for the consumption of any alcohol. Recently, the stem cell team said I could finally have a beer due to the discontinuation of several harsh prescriptions. My first stop was Discount Beer for a case of my favorite, Rolling Rock. They remembered me and expressed their concern and well-wishes for my health to return. I have a long way to go, but places like this help me tackle the journey.
