"I recently had a terrible experience at Crosbys on Peach Street in Erie, PA. I'm staying at a nearby water park with my family and also happen to be a representative for a travel magazine. As part of my job, I was scouting the area to see if there were any notable attractions or businesses worth featuring in our upcoming articles. Unfortunately, my experience at Crosbys was nothing short of a nightmare. As a 40-year-old man with grey hair, I was denied the purchase of cigarettes simply because I did not have a form of identification that could be scanned. The staff was unhelpful and refused to provide me with the manager's name or contact information for the store. What's more, there was no signage or indication anywhere that Crosbys required everyone to have ID to make a purchase. It was only after being denied that I found out about this ridiculous policy. Feeling frustrated and disappointed, I decided to try my luck at the gas station next door. To my surprise, I was able to make my purchase without being asked for identification. It was clear that the staff at Crosbys was simply flexing their power and had no real reason to deny me my purchase. As a travel magazine representative, I'm appalled by the behavior of Crosbys staff and their lack of basic customer service. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, and I strongly advise against visiting this establishment or any other Crosbys location if this is the kind of treatment you can expect. In conclusion, my experience at Crosbys on Peach Street in Erie, PA was a nightmare. The staff was unhelpful, and their ID policy was not clearly communicated to customers. If you're looking for a hassle-free experience, I suggest avoiding this establishment and finding a business that values customer satisfaction over power-tripping."

"This location should be reported to the State AG for price gouging. On a recent trip to NC, we purchased 91.765 gallons of gas at 5 different gas stations. The average price for Super at the first five stations was $5.14/gallon (Thanks to Brandon). When we pulled in to Crosby's I could not believe my eyes... $5.499/gallon (Thanks to price gouging). You know what, I think I will call the PA AG tomorrow. BUYER BEWARE."

"Most incredibly awful experience I’ve ever had at a gas station. They charged us $15.99 for a pizza we didn’t buy, then couldn’t figure out how to refund. Rude cashier called the manager and she drove there (lying about how long it would take) - she couldn’t figure it out either, ended up giving me a cash refund (which could’ve been done immediately), and was incredibly rude. I asked if she planned to apologize, and she did not respond. At no time did she apologize for what turned into a THIRTY MINUTE stop to purchase simple snacks. Absolutely surreal."

"When we go in to your store. They never have some donuts. They always have many donut holes. We wanted to buy 2 breakfast sandwiches and they said it ended at 5:00. It didn’t say that with the ad. Your workers just don’t want to work. How do you expect to sell donuts or sandwiches when they don’t have them made. And they don’t want to make them. We want to buy things from Tim Hortons, but doesn’t seem like you want to sell"
