"I've been travelling all summer, on 7/11/22, I was travelling through Erie on my return trip to St. Louis. I really needed to check and fill my oil. I stopped at a competitor right off I-90. Unfortunately, I dropped my oil cap in the wheel well, and could not get it out. They tried to help, but that cap was not coming out and I needed it out. That store did not have one in stock. I called around to O'Reilly stores in the area (I knew I would get good customer service at O'Reillys) and was informed they had one at the store on West 26th. When I arrived, the cap they had in stock was not the correct cap. I was kind of freaking out, I needed this cap. The staff at this location understood my situation. A couple of guys gave it a great effort in trying to find it after the drive over and were pretty sure it had fallen out. John, the Assistant Store Manager saw the look on my face and asked if he could look. He found the cap right away but couldn't reach it. He was so sweet and kind and told me to sit tight, he had an idea. I don't know what the tool was he grabbed, but he had that cap out in a hot second! I couldn't have been more grateful, and he refused to allow me to pay a customer service fee. He just said this is what we do, we take care of our customers. John, thank you. You made this stressed-out traveler a very happy customer!!! The next time I'm in Erie, PA, and need anything for my car, I will certainly drive the extra miles off I-90 to visit your store! Thank you!!!"
"The rates aren't so bad they're really great to US veterans. And if they don't have something which quite honestly I've never run into, but I do know that they're willing to get it. Now that's customer service keep up the good work!"
