"I was a resident here awhile ago, but I saw my original review has disappeared and so I will write another one At that time for the price you couldn't find a better price/size ratio, everything in the apartment was outdated or broken in some regard but the space you got was unreal. The construction of the building also is solid so you rarely hear your neighbors, convenient location in a safe area as well. However there were so many negatives that I could never recommend this place: as mentioned most things in the apartment were old or broken, the shower controls were backwards, doors were in disrepair, rude staff etc But that pales in comparison to the bed bugs that were in the walls of the apartment, this caused myself and my roommates undue torture through the whole process. The staff in the office being called "unhelpful" would be a compliment, through the whole situation it was apparent how useless they were and didn't care about the residents. We were told our apartment was inspected and cleared but no one actually showed up, I called the property manager and they called me a liar and questioned my logic. My roommate was home all day and no one came which then the property manager quickly back peddled her statements. The water and electricity went out all the time, communication was non-existent. When we moved out we were slapped with a $300 dollar fee and other random charges which Morgan Properties happily took out of our security deposit and threatened legal action if I refused to pay. I found a document from move in that said this fee was already paid as well as the other charges and miraculously they suddenly gave me a full refund seeing they were trying to extort me. Long story short, if you want to feel unwelcome in your own domicile then rent from Place One or Morgan Properties, if you want to actually be happy, go anywhere else or with any other company"
"Moved in to Place One with my girlfriend the first week of December 2023. Even prior to moving in, Courtney the leasing agent was one of the best and kindest leasing agents I've had the pleasure of dealing with. Helped us with the application process and made everything go smoothly. As for the apartment itself, it is great; walls are not thin at all so no noise coming in or going out, renovated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and marbling kitchen countertop area, clean carpeting. There are other units with hardwood floor throughout the apartment which are a little more expensive. You pay more, you get more, so I have no complaints about paying a little less for carpet. We also love the balcony. This building is going through renovations because it has new management that is trying to make the place a lot better than it was under old management. As for other reviewers complaining about hallways and building interior being in the renovation process...do you guys sleep in the hallways? Unfortunately, there are residents here that disregard basic principles such as picking up after your pets or returning management-provided dolleys to the dolley room in even average condition. Residents also throw their trash into recycling bins when there's a trash chute literally right next to the recycling bins in the trash room. Management can only do and advise so much when there are residents here who don't even do the basic things properly because they simply don't care. That being said, my girlfriend and I enjoy the apartment just fine. Just residents being either careless or impatient or just both. P.S. Maintenance is extremely quick to respond to maintenance requests, I put in a request regarding a sink disposal issue at like 8PM on the night of Christmas Day and someone fixed it at 9AM the next morning shortly after I left for work. Never seen anything like it."
"Overpriced is the first issue. The interior building looks like it's from the 70s and kitchen looks outdated as well. Dryer machine barely works. I have to run 1 load through 3 times to get my clothes dry. The water shuts off monthly, and the showers have very low pressure. They have been doing renovations since Jan 20, 2023, and rent will probably increase once they are done."
"The elevators have been broken or half working for over a year. The hot water for showers comes out lukewarm at best. Flat. Out. Unbelievable. Only move here if you like taking the stairs, cold showers and over priced rent."
"Feels right at home! Friendly staff and community! Luxury apartment living and convenient parking garage. Nice spaces in the apartment with nice view on the balcony. Stainless steel fixtures and appliances. Lovely pool and firepits to relax on weekends and evenings. Very peaceful and quiet."
