"Horrible residence. Don’t live here. I’m posting this as a warning to others. My grandparents have lived here for a few years now. The storage in the basement is a JOKE. No real security so people will steal your stuff. Management is a joke. They put up a FAKE handicap sign for my REAL handicap grandfather who now has started a battle with cancer, and then his car got towed and the police said it’s because the sign is fake. Which isn’t his fault. That’s on management. We will be taking this to court."
"The worst place to live. They never fix anything. I moved in 6 months ago and my apartment takes on water when it rains. The maintenance can't fix it and I called the office and they don't bother to help me. I got corporate office number and left 6 messages and still no call back. I had the code enforcement here and still no help. If I could post a picture to show you the damage on my bedroom wall you wouldn't think twice to move here"
"Management never fixes anything. They rented the apartment to me before it was ready and I walked in to doors off of the hinges and a broken window. After my dad went to the office to tell them it was unacceptable , they pushed back my move in date. I’ve left five emails within a month about getting things fixed 7 months later and received zero response. My stove has scratched off numbers and two of the burners don’t work. I was told that they legally only have to supply us with one burner. I ask for something to be fixed and they “don’t have the tools.” They “put in a work order” and then when I call a month later because nothing changed, they claim that they weren’t sent anything. Also would not take my name off the lease when my roommate and I both agreed that he would take over. Apparently, even if you get a restraining order against someone, Antietam Arms will not remove either person from the lease"
"Started out as a nice community to live in. Reasonable priced. Older style appearance and older appliances, but clean. Nice neighbors. Things repaired in a timely manner. Over the years the management/maintenance went downhill. Place became infested with mice. Repairs not being made. Heat didn’t work appropriately. Water issues. “Trash” began moving in. We had people coming all hours of the day with luggage that had airport tags but no one seemed to care. Apartment had no visible furniture when door was left open. Strong odors of various smokes. Theft. Porch pirates. Homeless sleeping in stairwells. People destroying the property and while that shouldn’t happen, no one cared to clean it up. Residents leaving stinky trash bags in hallways as they were too lazy to bring to dumpsters. Plows didn’t remove snow in a timely manner (one time was over 24 hours and people were out shoveling a path to get out). Light bulbs out in common areas and not promptly replaced. Laundry rooms often out of order. Chronic pipes bursting and leaking into units. The list goes on. You’d report multiple times and management acted like they never herd of the issue. Finally moved out and over 3 years later still waiting for my security deposit to be returned. I was asked to confirm my new address for my security deposit to be returned to. Was told unit was left in immaculate condition (lived there for 7-8 years). At this point it’s not worth traveling back (live out of state) and filing in court to fight for it."
"I lived here for about 4 years.. the locations is what kept me there. To get anything fixed it's a hassle the just put temporary fixes instead of replacing the item that is broken. There is no happy medium with the heat either it's freezing cold or it's like a desert. Water and heat gets shut off at least once other twice a month for "fixes" to the hot water heater. My cabinets fell apart literally, and my kitchen tiles came up off of the floor due to the multiple leaks from the apartments above me. They said they would fix it when I moved out. Management never does anything about the complaints you express to them. I could literally go on and on. For the price you pay for an apartment here is not worth living here."
