"Only recieved 4 stars because they had other people staying there that were pissy drunk spilled beer all in the stairway pissed on the floor. The guy was just laid out on the floor it was horrible. I started cussing because I almost fell coming up the side stairwell he disappered when I went in my room I came back out he was gone. But overall the service was great they offer complimentary breakfast Go early because each time I went there was only bread left lol. Staff gave my grandson some toys to play with because they noticed he was a lil fussy. Thank you guys for that."
"This is listed as a 2-star hotel on Maps, so we were a bit wary, but the location and price were right, so we gave it a go. This is right off the busy 422 and a very easy on and off the expressway. It is a busy commercial area with restaurants and shopping just across the street. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit dated, but mostly clean. (We discovered a food smear on the fridge that was really dried on and it took some scrubbing to remove it.) We were on the 4th floor with a view of 422 and the highway noise was constant in the background but not horrible. The TV offered the normal channels, but it was a fuzzy (not horrible but not great) picture and the sound kept going off from the picture, so it was like watching a badly dubbed B-movie most of the time. The bed was firm but the pillows were the lightly stuffed bags of fluff pillows that hotels love to use. I guess that wash well? Breakfast was not great, or good, or fair. It was basically some slices of bread for toast, packaged muffins (1 out of 2 days), snack bars, coffee, juice, etc. Basically a 2-star hotel breakfast. This is at best a overnight, we are on-our-way-home stay, or for the business traveler. If we were in the area in the future, we would likely consider staying here again.. The Plaza Azteca Mexican restaurant across the street is wonderful!"
"I have stayed at plenty of hotels, all around the United States and abroad. I have to say that this is the second worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. First, I will say that under normal circumstances it may have been...ok. We had three rooms booked. But we were able to cancel one, because part of our party had a change of plans. As it turns out, the hotel was BOOKED FULL. This trip was to attend a major national motorsports event. So.. why do I say it was a bad experience? Well, the room had an odor to it. The window to the outside had a very large imprint on it. (Almost as if someone was trying to claw their way out. I took pictures, but they didn't turn out great. ) And even though the rest of the room was seemingly clean, that was disturbing. And it was there all weekend. The room seemed to be in "decent" condition other than the aforementioned items and the climate control didn't work well. Also the light between the beds had two charging ports, that didn't work. Don't get me wrong, the staff was VERY courteous. The biggest let down, for a hotel that they knew in advance was sold out... The continental breakfast was GONE before 8am! Why were they not prepared for this? Luckily my son and I got the two remaining sticky rolls, and cups of water... That was disappointing to say the least. More disappointing... The hotel actually DOUBLED the price for that weekend!! Not worth it. Next time we will prepare more in advance to get a hotel that is closer to the venue. And it will be a chain that will have higher standards. For the price we paid, we should have had better."
"We had an absolutely terrible experience with this hotel. I booked and prepaid for a room for my coworker on Priceline for a five-night stay, and it turned out to be a complete nightmare. Upon arrival, my coworker was greeted by a room that reeked of an unpleasant odor β it was literally unbearable. To make matters worse, the light switch in the room didn't work, which made the already grim situation even more frustrating. As if that weren't enough, the cleanliness of the room was subpar at best. Given the unlivable conditions, my coworker had no choice but to leave the hotel immediately. In light of the unsatisfactory conditions, I promptly contacted the hotel to request a refund for (at least) the remaining four nights, as it was clear that staying there was not an option. Unfortunately, the hotel's manager, Jack, refused to authorize a refund, leaving us in a situation where we paid for five nights and couldn't even spend one night in the room. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and it reflects poorly on the hotel's management. In summary, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The experience was nothing short of a nightmare, from the terrible odor and non-functional light switch to the overall lack of cleanliness. It's clear that this is not a reputable establishment, and I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this hotel at all costs."
"I had a room booked this weekend at this location. Upon arrival we realized the toilet was clogged, after retrieving a plunger we tried to plunge it and realized it was backed up beyond anything we had done. There was no maintenance team or person available until the next morning, so we plunged ourselves. As we were plunging a roach was walking up the wall. We could not be assigned a different room until after 3am, I had to grab my sleeping kids and move to another room. The floor said no smoking and it smelled of marijuana and smoke. The staff was as helpful as can be but I will not be returning. It is listed as Days Inn by Wyndham and was ran by a completely different company and was more like a cheap motel with a nice sign."
